Transparent image hosting?
I want to use a signature on a forum, that has round corners. I want to have a transparent as the background. I can't download it directly to the forum, so I need to use a image-hosting site. I use photobucket. I tried downloading the file to photobucket in gif AND jpg format, but those white corners appear everytime, no matter what I try. >.< Can anyone help? Thanks in advance ^.^

You get your images photographing something THROUGH the air which is transparent.If air could form an image you wouldn’t be able to photograph anything but air.For an image to form you need light reflected from a surface, therefore when you have an image you obviously photographed something which is not transparent.One can say that glass is transparent but is not. Try to put 10 sheets of window glass on top of eachother and you’ll see. The glass also reflects some light in form of glare, still you can’t photograph a sheet of glass with nothing in the background, it’s nothing there to show up.You also have nothing to focus on, unless is something there as a contrast, then you focus on that but then again, it’s not an image of a transparent medium.

They are fantastic for reducing file size, and can be read by any graphics app, but PNG and GIF images have the advantage of having transparency.Sorry for the bad news!Edit: you can “fake” the transparency by adding a clipping path to the jpg. The area outside the clipping path will be thought of as transparent by some graphic apps. In Photoshop you can always make a selection from that clipping path and delete the background later on if you need to.

Make sure you have selected the appropriate Alpha channel mode for your files in Vegas. Right-click on the image file and select Properties > Media Properties > Alpha Channel

You can't do that with CSS, you have to modify the image itself and remove the background. It looks like there are parts of the background in every frame, so you might need a lot of pixel pushing
