Imaginative People Help Ideas For A Playstation Network Username

How can I submit a video game idea to developers?

Do not consider the next few lines as quite personal.Suppose I am an AAA game developer. And you mailed me your idea. Now the questions that come to my mind:Who are you?  -  I ask for the qualifications if I think you to be a real one. Else, I will delete it, Why?, because you would write- "I have an awesome idea about a game, and I am quite sure of its success. Please contact me for the deal." I will put it in spam. And if you write, "Here is my plan for a game- ..........." Well, I might read it and if I like it, what is the finality whether I give you the ownership rights; I might adapt it, without even mentioning your name. So, don't email them. Now you think of blogging or publishing it on the net. Don't do it. With high levels of piracy, no one who likes your idea will contact you back, and one fine day, you may see your idea in a game !!!So how to do it ??? It is a rare thing. But you have to be diligent, and a bit of lucky too!!! You can try one of these methods:Find a professional with a startup, or in a gaming company. Try searching a social networking site, or go to LinkedIn. Talk with the person, and see if it comes through.Mail them ( not with the language I mentioned above, but with a persuasive one, and try to make sure they contact you. And if this mail is recommended or sourced by a professional in their company, it has higher chances of getting through. The best method- make a prototype and own the copyrights. Attach a notice that it is saleable though ( or anything they call in technical terms ) and your contact number or e-mail address as well. They will contact you if they are interested. And the best of the best methods- Make the game yourself and sell it at Indie stores online. You will get what you want- money, recognition, and satisfaction.Good Luck !!!

Is there a creative solution for my conflict?

@Dale M: You seem to think that by charging for your advice it might make it more accepted and somehow more useful. I don't think Jesus or Buddha needed to charge people to hear what they were saying.
BeiYin: My information wouldn't be more useful if I charge for it. My advice is useful for every body who is following it. The problem is that people are so much occupied with themselves and their daily life difficulties, that they don't even ask for a solution.
You mean Jesus this poor step son of a carpenter? He was travelling for many years all over the country and offering people some
useful advises. In this time there was no TV and other entertainment and people used to see clowns and other people offering
amusements, so they came to listen to Jesus' lectures. There is no real report if they understood what Jesus was talking about and it is pretty sure that they thought that this is an interesting guy and they were impressed, but this was probably all. So Jesus went on >>>

Is a creative person creative in all aspects?

A2A. No, using myself as a counterexample. I'm creative in arts, music and my job as digital architect. But, no don't ask me to redecorate your house. Not only do I lack the skills, the techniques to do the job, I even lack the imagination what should be right. This I see often in my life. I meet friends who are very creative in fixing bicycles from spare parts. Always I'm amazed at the results. "How did you do that? I wouldn't never thought that thingamagic could be used for that purpose!", I would ask them. Probably the same creativity I use for drawing others use for engineering, or cooking, or hairdressing. Creativity needs skills and the opposite, skills need creativity. Working with computers in a professional life often brings the "oh you can fix my computer?" question up. Finding creative results for very specialized computing systems doesn't give you the skills nor the creativity of fixing your home network problem or computer problem. Usually my wife fixes that. But I'm very good explaining after the facts why this and that worked to fix the problem ;).

Why is everyone suddenly gay?

There's so many of them I could reconsider solipsism.

It couldn't be that everyone was part of this underlaying 'gay network' and suddenly now they all started coming out?

What are some startups that had good ideas but failed?

Let’s talk about the startup on which people like Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos and John Doer bet on. The forerunner for the idea and inventor himself was an award winning exceptional inventor Dean Kamen. However, the product never made the impact it sought out to.. Segway.Yes, this prospective product in it’s inception days took the silicon valley by storm. $80 Million was pushed by John Doer, who once saw Google as the future in its’s juvenile days. Steve Jobs offered to buy shares but was let down, however, he couldn't shake the idea of not being a part so went on as an advisor for six months. We have quotes from Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, relating the product to be “revolutionary”.Well, I guess they were wrong about that. But let’s take a look from their perspective. As the information technology was maturing, people like Steve Jobs realized that the next technology evolution must be in transportation. They bet their chips on Segway and thought that this must be a good solution for daily commutes of people. Intuitively, this makes sense. In one perspective, what went wrong was that Segway got ahead of the startup game. It got so much appraisal at the infant stage that it became important to build this under secrecy. The idea was not exposed to a wider audience, the employees were asked to keep it to themselves and so on. They just saw a market and started building. The technology vs customer war. This lead to the product being perfect in the eyes of the inventors but failed to meet the consumer demands. The lesson here is the importance of lean startup methodology and how essential it is to incrementally challenge your idea in the market and evolve it with each iteration.
