Do i need a visa to go to North Cyprus?

I just checked the provisions by the German ministry of foreign affairs for Germans to travel to North Cyprus. I think in general U.S. are treated by the Turkish government the same way as Germans are. To visit Cyprus for less than 90 days, your passport is sufficient, there is no visa requirement. You will need a visa to get into North Cyprus, that is issued at the boarder by Turkish authorities. There is no need to request it in advance at any embassy. There had been problems with the Cypriot government, when tourist had entered Cyprus through the northern part first and wanted to proceed to the south, because the Northern part is official not recognized, and with a Turkish stamp in their passport, entry to South Cyprus was denied. It is therefore adviced to enter Cyprus through a port or an airport under control of the Republic of Cyprus.

Edit:
Just found a link of the US government, same procudures.

You need not migrate to Canada if you want to study there. Migration is a process where someone goes to Canada and stay indefinitely there. You have not indicated in your question about what you would like to study in Canada. However, I assume that you wish to o to a Canadian University for your studies. For just study, you need to secure an admission to a Canadian University, then you are required to apply and obtain student visa from Canadian Embassy in Cyprus. If you visit Canadian immigration website and look for the procedure and requirement for a student visa, you will find full information what to do to obtain a student visa.Hope this helps.

In view of the fact that Northern Cyprus is only recognised as a state by Turkey, you’re unlikely to find any consular offices that can issue you with a visa. However, as most visitors to Northern Cyprus transit through Turkey, the primary visa requirement will be dictated by Turkey. Basically, if you have a transit, or any other visa that allows you to travel to or through Turkey, you will usually get a visa on demand upon arrival at Ercan in North Cyprus. Citizens of European Union (EU) nations, CIS countries, Turkey, USA, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Iraq do not require visas. Citizens from other countries should check with their local Turkish embassy. Visitors who do not wish to have their passports stamped by the authorities on arrival in North Cyprus may request a stamped visa form, which is loosely inserted into the passport and removed on departure. This may be a desirable option if you plan to visit the officially recognised southern Republic of Cyprus at some future date.

Do u know about holiday in Northern Cyprus?***?

Only advice I can give is :-

Cut a sheet of clean paper the size of a passport page. Attach it to your passport with a paperclip. When you arrive let the immigration officer stamp it. After you leave destroy it.

Reason.

Simple, from a legal point of view there is no such place as North Cyprus. It is the part of Cyprus illegally occupied by the Turkish Army.

A North Cyprus stamp in your passport will bar you from entry to the rest of Cyprus, Greece as well, maybe elsewhere.

A question about N Cyprus citizenship?

I think they should have Turkish passport.
A North Cyprus passport will be invalid and unacceptable since its not recognized.
But Turkey has recognized and can give Turkish citizenship to Turks of North Cyprus.

Majority of people in South Ossetia have Russian citizenship.

edit:
I didn't mean they were Turkish nationals before. But Turkey is the only door to the world for North Cyprus. Since North Cyprus is not recognized internationally the passport will be invalid. So only Turkey can "help" people of North Cyprus.
I meant this.

You can’t.Canada doesn’t recognize “North Cyprus”. According to the Canadian government, North Cyprus is being illegally occupied by Turkey. Canada does recognize Cyprus (and recognizes Cyprus’s claim to North Cyprus, although it realizes that they have no control over it). It also recognizes Turkey, but doesn’t recognize North Cyprus either as a sovereign nation or as part of Turkey.Canada doesn’t even maintain a diplomatic mission in North Cyprus. If a Canadian is in North Cyprus and needs help, they can get assistance from the American diplomatic mission.Canada does maintain a diplomatic mission in both Ankara (the embassy) and Istanbul (a consulate). You would have to start there.

Due to 315 year Ottoman rule (1571 - 1878) a period that was very difficult for the Greek Christian population of Cyprus, Christians population (Romans or Ρωμιοί) were very protective for their religion. Marriages between Christians and Muslims were not acceptable by Christians because they felt that they were close to extinction due to the heavy taxation and very punitive actions imposed to Christians by the Ottomans. At this period, many Greeks turned to Islam in order to survive, it is common until today to find villages that have names that come from Christian Saints (i.e St. Sozomenos, St. George’s) and the people to be Muslims, it was also common at that times to see Greeks, speaking Greek, not knowing Turkish to say that are Muslims but to follow, some or all, Christian customs. Today Greek Cypriots account for 80% and Turkish Cypriots 18% of the entire population.Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974 and illegally holds 37% of the Republic of Cyprus at the same time Turkey threatens / is bullying the (small) Republic Cyprus in every aspect is possible. Since 1974 Christians-Greeks and Muslims-Turks of Cyprus live site by site but separated by the United Nation Green Line of Cyprus. Again, this period (1974-today) is a very difficult period for all Cypriots because 1/3 of the population was displaced and are refugees in their own country and the northern part of Cyprus is heavily populated by settlers from Turkey changing the character of the place. To answer to your question, yes Greek Cypriots generally avoid marriages with Muslims (men and women) because of the historic reasons that still trouble the Island of Cyprus.

How is studying in Cyprus-Great help?

My dear friends,
I'm planning to go to Cyprus for my higher education and I'm not from rich family.I have heard lots of students who studying abroad are doing part time jobs and they send some money to their family while studying. As I mentioned before I'm not a rich guy and I'm supposed to earn something for my family. But I love to study more too.So I searched a bit and found Cyprus as a ideal country for my purpose.I so few views from students there which were saying that they are earning enough while studying and it is wonderful country. So my friends I need to know is that true?Is the living cost minimum there?(I'm planing to fallow hospitality Management) Are the degree's/diploma's recognized? How is the condition in UK compared to Cyprus?I would be pleased if you can let me know.It would be a great great help.I'm from Sri Lanka

North Cypriot passports do exist, but can only be used to travel to 6 countries: Australia, France, Pakistan, Turkey, UK and US. Pre-arrival visas are required for everywhere apart from Turkey.Turkish Cypriots who can prove legal residence prior to the partition usually apply for (and receive) passports from the Republic of Cyprus. This became particularly attractive after 2004, when Cyprus joined the EU, and around 100,000 Turkish Cypriots hold RoC passports.Naturalized Northern Cyprus citizens, however, are viewed as illegal settlers by the Republic of Cyprus and require other documents to travel. All citizens of Northern Cyprus are  entitled to Turkish citizenship, so I expect this is a common solution. Finally, a significant minority of North Cypriots hold additional citizenships such as British and so can travel using their second nationality.
