What are the positive and negative effects your friends have in your life?

Before beginning anything, I would like to just say that Friendship is one of the strongest bond two persons could share. But everything has a positive and negative effect in our life and it's up to us how we deal with it.Talking about my experiences-Positive effects-There is always someone with whom you can share almost everything.I live away from my family, for studies, so my friends are the only family there. You could be sure that there is always someone standing by you.Actually all three points sounds very similar because there are things which is very difficult to explain and can only be felt and experienced.Negative Effects-There are moments in life when you feel betrayed by your friend. When you believe he/she is your good friend, but you hear from some other friend that he/she is back bitching about you, it makes me very sad. When you build some expectations from any close friend and it gets shattered. At this point of my life I have learned some very good lessons that leaving family every other type of relationship is quite temporary. Like, earlier in my school days there were so many persons or in other words ‘best friends' that I'm not even in contact with now and I have accepted this reality.God Bless Everyone.

What are the positive and negative effects of culture?

Positives: social harmony (in the sense of getting along with one another), a sense of identity and belongingness, a system of order, the very process of widespread and context/people-specific meaning-making that allows members of a culture to interpret things one way and incorporate both traditions and changes into their lives.Negatives: anomie or the feeling of being left out and not properly integrated into a culture which can lead to perceived morally negative actions like suicide, possible loss of a good grasp of individual identity, intense interpellation or forcing of an identity into a person which may lead one to what some may call being brainwashed, excusing and justifying actions and beliefs that may be harmful to others because “this is how my culture is”, stringently structural perceptions which may make one believe that they have lost all agency.I think these are a few positives and negatives of culture which I have mostly repeated from my basic social theory classes.

What are some positive and negative effects of Globalisation on the Philippines? ?

it drains the Philippines of all of what it can scarsely produce.

simply put, its "standardization", and the standard are based mainly on what the rich countries have in hand. so whatever they have, they can export anywhere they want without any limitations. whether it is goods or services. to hell with any country who can not live up to the standard.

and we are slowly going that way, economically.
