Important Job Interview. Is This Outfit Ok

Is this an appropriate interview outfit?

NO JEGGINGS! I'm in charge of hiring entry level people for my company and if they wear jeans to an interview then it shows they're not professional or willing to take an interview seriously enough to wear business pants. But I suppose it depends where your interview's for.

It's not a fashion statement, you want to look professional. Wear your hair up in a tidy pony tail or bun or use a head band/clips to have you hair away from your face as you want to be able to make good eye contact. The shirt sounds nice but you should wear a business-looking jacket over the top, nothing too extravagant, plain black works just fine. Wear a pear of dress pants or a nice black skirt (that is at or past knee length) with tights. For shoes just wear something simple.

Most importantly you need to be confident. Always shake your interviewer's hand before and after the interview to show how approachable you are. If you are a fidgeter, hold your hands together in your lap. Make eye contact always and don't concentrate too hard as most people have a face like thunder when they're thinking about something too much. Appearances are very important in an interview as only 10% involves what is said and the other 90% is body language.

Good luck! :)

Is this OK to wear for my son's job interview?

Even if the employees wear black skinny jeans, It is ALWAYS better to be above the average everyday work clothes.
The clothes may not be the most important part to you, but really it is a huge part.
It shows how you represent as a person.
A polo or buttoned down shirt, with nice dress pants and shoes is the best choice.
Its neat, simple and clean :)
If the money is a problem for you, I recommend taking
a trip to the thrift store or goodwill, They might have something in store that's perfect! :)

Im wishing your son good luck!

Is it okay to wear slacks and a polo shirt for a job interview?

The answer will depend on the position as much as anything, in general this is the lowest level of dress that you should have for any job interview. I would caution you to do a little research, as simple as a quick Google search of the term "appropriate interview attire for _______", in general you should dress one level above what the position will require. Thus, if the position would be mostly a t-shirt and jeans position- a polo and slacks would be completely appropriate. If you'd be required to dress "business casual" (which is polo shirt and slacks) on a daily basis, you'd want to dress in professional business attire. The reason I tell you to research, is because these requirements CAN and DO vary depending upon position...software development is one example, though there are others.

Is it ok to wear jeans to a zookeeper job interview?

I don't think they would. Jeans convey an image of "I care more about being comfy than looking good." Jeans are just not professional at all. Even if you would be able to wear jeans while on the job, it's important to look like you actually care about the job in the interview.

Forgot a copy of my resume during the job interview.... is that ok?

I forgot to bring my resume to the job interview (internal). Is that bad? I was out sick for 3 days. I came back, open my email box, and saw a notification for interview at 2pm of that day. I rushed out during lunch to buy a more professional outfit because I looked terrible that day...no joke... i was hospitalize for couple of days. Luckily my hair and make up was reasonable since it's my birthday and i was going to dinner with my fiance right after work. Anyways, I didn't have enough time to run back up stair (after running out to shop for a new outfit) to grab my resume. My interviewers have my resume but I just feel strange that I didn't have a copy in hand.

Wearing baggy pants to an interview?

If I were the manager, I would not hire them. Anyone foolish enough to dress that way for an employment interview would not make a good employee

What should i wear to a job interview at mcdonalds!?

I have been a Manager for 16 plus years and one of the most important things that I look at when interviewing for a vacancy is the way someone dresses for thier interview. It's really important that you look professional. You don't have to wear a suit or anything that formal but I do suggest that you look your best. First Impression's are very important. Good Luck.
