When To Use Que, Qui, Dont, and Ou in French.?

Hey I have a french test coming up and it's based on the French Relative Pronouns. I've been taking a few tests online and I keep getting the answers wrong so I don't think I'm fully understanding the concept. Can someone please explain to me when to use it? As far as I know:

Que is used to replace an object (Such as a house)
Qui is used to replace a noun (Specifically People)
Dont is used to replace anything that has "De" in a sentence
Ou is used to replace a location.

This is what I understand so far and considering the fact that I'm getting 60% on all the online tests I've done I clearly don't have the right idea in my mind. Can anyone please explain the concept to me and possibly link me to a site that has a quiz on this matter. Thanks!

Can you say "avec il" in french?

Hi! I'm preparing for a french test tomorrow, and I'm going to write about my father. Here is what I'm going to say. "My father is tall. He is 1m 89! Together with him, I seem short and I am 1m 78!"
I have wrote this "Mon père est grand. Il mesure 1m 89! Avec il, je suis petit et je mesure 1m78!"
Is it possible to say "avec il"? Thank you! :)

Disovering French Test Answers?!?!?

No, I do not have that test, and, even if I did, do you think it would be ethical to tell you what it contains?
Les repas and la nourriture is a doddle to learn. It really is very simple vocabulary and if you make the effort to learn it, you might actually enjoy it. Cheating does not lead you anywhere.
I will tell you a story. When I was your age, I had a very important language test to prepare for, and I was really scared that I did not know enough to do well in it. So I went to school, smuggled the text book in the classroom and hid it on my knee under the desk. A classroom mate saw me and told the teacher, before the test papers were given out. The teacher confiscated the book and I did the test without it. When the results came out, I had 35/40 and I was third in the class.
The teacher was a good woman. She did not report me either to the Head Teacher or to my parents (my father was a very clever but very violent man and he knocked me about when I did not have good results). She simply told me "You see there was no need to try cheating. If you have done the preparation properly, you can only do your best and have a clean conscience". I really learnt a lesson there.
So go and revise your vocabulary and keep cool. You might surprise yourself tomorrow.

How do you say 'To take' in French?

take take an exam = passer un examen

prendre means to take in other contexts .. but specifically with exams .. to take = passer ..

remember that's the infinitive ..
so ..
i'm taking an exam = je passe un examen
etc ..

also if you're serious about the translation .. then you should not use the online translators .. as specific contexts often change the words you use .. i recommend getting a good dictionary which takes context into consideration .. the best cheap pocket dictionary that i have found is "harrap's french and english pocket dictionary"

Pregnancy tests in France?

My period is 2-3 weeks late, so I'm probably skipping this month. I'm terrified that I may be pregnant, even though we only practice safe sex and use a condom every single time, no question. I am usually on the pill, but for the past 4 months I haven't taken it, since the price has skyrocketed (the government used to subsidize the pill's price at university health centers and now does not, so I can't afford them anymore).

I'm in France now for the next 2.5 months, and I have no idea how to ask for a pregnancy test...also, I'm a little bit embarrassed to have to ask for one at a pharmacy, but I guess I'll have to bite the bullet. Does anyone know the brand name of those tests, and if there is a stigma attached to buying pregnancy tests in France? (The latter question won't change my decision, but I just want to know)

Please help me, I'm alone in a foreign country and possibly pregnant and I'm so, so scared.
