Why does every Domino's Pizza outlet play a music video in their TV, mute the volume and then play an entirely different song in their music system?
That is because a food outlet has mix set of customers. Customers who are coming for a quick meal to wrap up their day after work to customers who are there to party till the shop closes up. This is the reason why you will notice that casual dining restaurants have differnt types of sitting arrangement including wall paterns and lighting.Similar is the case with TV and music. Few examples that I can cite down to prove the logic are: 1) There are times when guys just hangs up in a food outlet to catch up a match which does not mean the outlet has to let down there female set of customers. Guys can catch up on match and ladies can be happy with music.2) Also outelts will either run a match or music channel. Music channel will also have advertisement. Nobody would like to see advertisements also on a full volume in resto. 3) TV screens are fixed at a particular place. It is not viewable from all the area of food outlet (Not to forget the back facing customers). Hence keeping TV along with audible audio will be completely stupid thing in such scenario.Ultimately the main aim of such fast food, casual dining restaurant's is to bring in diversed set of customers. Thats their target area to acheive profit and this TV with different song helps them in someway to show customers that they matter. If this small things didnt work then all food outlets would turn up into fine dining- same sitting, same lighting, same slow music... too formal layout to be comfortable dont you think!!!
I just got a wrong domino's order?
Sounds like the driver just gave you an order meant for someone else (and that other person got what you ordered). Its best to at least let them know you did not get the right order so they know they screwed up and will do a better job in the future. Whether or not you wanna keep what you got will ultimately still be your choice. Calling & informing them of the mistake does not automatically mean you are required to give the food back. They will do just about anything to keep you happy.
How do we play Mexican domino's?
There is a game called Mexican Train that is a dominos game. Each player starts with 15 tiles. The person with the highest double tile goes first (double twelve, double eleven, etc.) and puts that tile in the middle. Play goes around the table. Each person must match that center number to begin his/her "train." (You build your train out from the center tile like the spokes on a wheel.) You can add one of your tiles to your train with each turn, but you must match the numbers as you go. If you can't add to your train because you don't have a matching tile, you place a marker on your track. Other players may now play on your track as well as their own. Once you can again make a match and play on your own track, you remove your marker and no one else can play your track anymore. There is also one group train, called the "Mexican Train," which is a line of dominos anyone in the group can start and anyone can play on (match their dominos on.) On any given turn, you can add to your own train, the "Mexican" train, or anyone's train that has a marker. If you can't make a match anywhere on your turn, you need to pick from the facedown extra tiles. (You may play the tile you picked right away if it matches somewhere.) Play ends when someone runs out of dominos. Everyone else counts up the spots/dots on their remaining tiles, lower scores are better than higher scores. Have fun!
