In General If You See Someone Wearing Shirt .

What do you do when someone is wearing the same shirt/outfit as you?

Hahaha funny thing is my school has a uniform so I go to school and on average in wearing the same thing as about 20 guys and 20 girls lol. But for you since your lucky enough to go to a school without a uniform (so jealous) i just think don't sweat the small stuff. The right mind set is if you see someone in the same shirt just say to yourself wow I'm glad she wore the same shirt just so that everyone could see how much better i look in it lol. Hope this helped and please help with mine thanks

How do you feel when you see someone wearing the exact same thing as you?

I have been there and many times . one of the times, I got a cute red women tshirt from Converse. I wore it to office on a Friday was just going for lunch and on the stairs I saw a guy wearing the exact same tshirt . I just could not stop smiling and then my friends had a laughter saying u wearing a men’s tshirt. But the drama dint stop i was sitting on a chair with my lunch on the table just then a girl wearing the exact same tshirt asked if she could sit with us , but then again we started laughing, we went like we are wearing the same tshirt. she said thankfully you are wearing it too, i saw a guy wearing it and was embarrassed, I was a little relieved , got all my friends to show that see even another girl is wearing it.Most of the other times , I do see a same kurta esp from ‘W’or ‘Westside’ (a few brands that make kurta in india for office wear), but i dont mind if we confront I smile and say its really a nice kurta indeed :)

What should you do if you see someone openly wearing a Nazi swastika in public in the United States?

Seriously: Assume idiocy. Before leaping to some broad ideological conclusion, assume they are uninformed.  Should I suppose that everyone wearing a Che T-shirt is ideological lockstep with the true horrors of marxist revolution? Presumably somebody buys Charles Manson t-shirts, shouldn't we all be outraged?Or is this just an example of  an idiot wearing an icon for the shock value of doing so?What should I do in the case of someone wearing the hijab, or flying the confederate rebel flag, or ordering their steak well-done, or ignoring complier warnings, or burning the stars and stripes, or flying a rainbow flag, or mixing soda-pop with whiskey. I find some of these things offensive and/or stupid but that's just me. I am wise enough to know that my own personal set of heresies are offensive to some subset of people, and I certainly don't want those jokers passing a law to curb my desires. In a free nation one has the right to be a dissident even when it makes one an asshole. As an aside: "Here's a guy with Nazi armband and no one is pointing and saying, 'What is going on there?'" To include the coward taking the photo. Apparently somebody else has to be the first to raise a hand and call bullshit before our intrepid photographer is ready to lend his voice to the chorus. Oh the courage of being outraged on the internet. I bet that an octogenarian survivor of D-Day would have shuffled over and confronted the little nazi.

What do you think about the trend of wearing heavy metal t-shirts without even knowing who the bands on those shirts are?

As a fan of metal, I could really let myself get upset, voice some serious objections. But I'm not going to waste my time or energy for a few sound reasons. The first being, Kylie Jenner or Justin MeatBeater wearing an Iron Maiden or Slayer t-shirt isn't going to have any affect on the bands in question, dilute their music, or make fans think the band has sold out. Seeing one of these ‘celebrated’ individuals in a metal t-shirt is simply going to confirm what we already know - that they are vapid and not particularly committed to any ideals.I'm 49, and in my lifetime, as a fan of the genre, this isn't the first time I've seen this. Key word in the question is ‘trend’. Which means it will be gone as soon as the wind changes direction. Just the fact that H&M is selling Metallica t-shirts should be indication enough as to the stamina and sincerity of the fad, as well as the target audience.Thank you, Gary Holt (Exodus/Slayer)Again, the key word here is trend. Metal isn't a trend - it's a fucking trendkill. This issue is like a house fly on the back of Godzilla. Doesn't even register. And like all trends, it will be gone in the blink of an eye.Heavy Metal will still be here.

Is wearing a Charles Manson shirt just as bad as wearing a John Holmes (batman killer) shirt?

It is just as bad.

As the father of a murdered child I would be offended and hurt...and confrontational.

There is no glamour or glory in portraying these animals except sitting on death row.

Did you ever get in trouble for wearing a che Guevara t-shirt in public?

a word of note: While left-wing extremists consider Che Guevara to be a Latin American robin hood because of his promotion of egalitarianism, the Cuba archive website dilutes that narrative by showing that Che killed innocent people at the La Cabana fortress in Cuba (as many as 6 dozen innocents) without a fair trial, not just pro-Batista soldiers. The Cuban American reaction to someone wearing a che t-shirt is predictably the equivalent of the jewish American reaction to someone wearing a hitler t-shirt and how 9/11 survivors react if someone wore a t-shirt with Osama bin Laden's face.

What is your reaction when you see someone wearing an eyepatch?

I completely understand. I, too, have to wear an eye patch to hide burn scarring. It's been an adjustment. It's taken me 3 years this month to start getting out. I would recommend that you purchase some very cool eye patches on Etsy. They have some extremely sexy eye patches for men. Just make sure they are going to be comfortable. If you have to wear one, rock the neck out of it.Best of luck and prayers sent your way.Desiree’

Does it feel embarrassing when you bump into someone wearing the same top you are?

I think you can look at it in one of two ways:

A. Seeing someone with the same clothes can make your outfit feel less unique, like everyone has it...

or B. On the more positive side, you can look it at like you have a great sense of fashion that other's would like to have to, especially if you had the outfit first.

For me, it's usually the first one lol, but it depends. If I ever saw someone with the same dress at like, prom or something, then I would be kind of upset. But if I ran into someone with the same sweatshirt or something, I don't think it would be that bad, especially if we weren't wearing it at the same time.

Do you just hate it when a person wears band shirts of bands that they don't listen to?

I can recall a time I went into an Urban Outfitters to get a couple of plain t-shirts. When I went up to the checkout counter, the girl who worked there had on a Led Zeppelin shirt. Sweet! I thought. It just so happened that I was deep in my Zeppelin phase at the time and couldn’t stop listening to I, II, and IV.“What’s your favorite album?” I asked. And she said, “Oh, I’m not sure. I don’t really listen to them. My dad just had this shirt, so I took it from him.”You can imagine my disappointment.Another example would be my sister. My older sister enjoys “recreational” activities. Me and her have a good relationship where we text each other often and see each other regularly. One day she texted me,“I’m getting a Jimi Hendrix shirt. Can you help me pick a good one?”Hmm. I thought. “Can you even name a song by Jimi Hendrix?” I asked.“No,” she said. “But he’s a bad-ass guitar player.”“What about all those times I tried to sit you down and get you to actually enjoy his stuff?” I piped back.“I don’t like it. It sounds…old. Everything’s off. The drums sound weird,” she said.Despite that, sure enough, a few weeks later, I see my sister walking around her condo in her Jimi Hendrix shirt. You can imagine how annoyed I was.Long story short, I totally agree that people who wear shirts of bands they don’t know are just doing it for the image that comes with it. It’s annoying, frustrating, and reduces something genuinely meaningful to someone to just an image. What can you do about it? Scold them amicably, and move on. There are enough people out there who’d agree with you and do the same. Eventually, the poser might get the message and play a track or two.

Wearing a T-shirt with pig picture when visiting people for Hari Raya - stupidity or provocation?

AQ.
i think its both... if i were the host.. i'll immediately chase her out.. that's the truth about it... i think she knows pigs are sensitive to certain race.. & by doing that it offended them..
unless its a underage girl let say under 12 yrs old are wearing this.. why cant the women learn about how to dress properly & neatly.. why dont they try understand other races..
-
then again.. like others always say when certain cases its ok.. she/ he dont know.. or he's just a boy expressing feeling.. or etc2.. try if it happens to others race such as malay.. Wow.. like it Nurin case.. i remember ppl are eager to punish her parents.. dont you see.. some of you judge things based on color..
-
dont want to say more.. mybe i'll start being ignorant or dumb after this towards ppl.. we'll see how ppl react then..

AQ.. thanks for bringing this up.. now i know some ppl's true color after this..
