In My Mouth By The Gums In Between Two Of My Teeth There Is A Small Pink Bubble. It Doesn

A piece of my gum in my mouth is missing?

I went to the dentist yesterday, and he was poking around in my mouth to find what's causing my tooth pain. I also was putting oraljel on it to help the pain. However, last night when I brushed my teeth I noticed a little chunk of my gums missing(the pink) above the tooth that's bothering me! I didn't notice it until then, I even remember looking in the mirror at my tooth after the dentist. I know the gum will probably never grow back, but what could of caused it? Did he slice it accidentally and it fell off from brushing it later that evening? Or, could Oraljel hurt gums? Any advice will be helpful. And it's kind of painful, and I'm not going to put oraljel on it, to make matters worse. What else could I put on it to relieve the pain as well? Thanks!

Big, red, swollen bump behind two front teeth?

yeah i had that once. i thought i was growing another row of teeth, my best friend called me a shark for like a week. but you mst have just cut the roof of your mouth or something. theres nothing you can do about it. it should go away from sometime between 3-5 days.

Why are my gums growing between my teeth?

Gums don't recede overnight, but if you pay close attention, you can spot telltale signs of the problem: a tooth that appears much longer than its neighbors, yellow stains where the tooth touches the gum line, or even a ridge you can feel on the affected tooth, indicating your gums have shifted. Tooth sensitivity is another red flag, as a declining layer of protective gum tissue can leave nerves beneath the enamel exposed.Causes of Receding GumsMany things can cause vital gum tissue to detach and recede, but the most common culprit is untreated gingivitis. If you have gum disease, chances are that gum recession is just around the corner.Other possible causes include:Brushing too hard, thereby resulting in unnecessary pressure and irritationSmoking/tobacco use, which can impact blood supply to the gumsCrooked teeth that can pull on the gums, and also lead to gingivitisOral piercings that force precious tissue aside over timeGenetics, an inherited predisposition to gum recessionDiabetes, which has been linked to receding gumsRead More……..Reference By: Definition Dental

How long does it take bruised gums to heal?

WARM SALT WATER:  Into a 1/2 cup of warm water add 1 teaspoon of salt.  Stir until dissolved completely.  Take in a mouthful of this solution and hold it in the area that is sore and bruised.  It will feel soothed.  Hold each mouthful for about 1/2 minute and then spit out.  Repeat this until all the solution has been used up.  You can repeat this process every hour until you have no more sensitivity and soreness.  You should feel some relief immediately.  Gums should be healed using this method within 1 to 2 days.  I did this when I had oral surgery and it reversed swelling and soreness immediately with complete healing in 2 days.Eat pureed soups, yoghurt and smoothies only.  I hope you feel better soon.

Big pinkish bump behind top front teeth?

I have a big pinkish red oval shaped bump that is right behind my top front teeth. It is so big I can't even completely close my jaw bone because my bottom teeth come into contact with it and it is painful. It is so swelled up that it makes it hard to eat. It has been there for like 3 or 4 days, and I have had one before but it was gone by now. It is a pain in the rear and I don't know what to do to make the thing go away or at least get the swelling to go down. I brush every single day and keep my teeth clean and chew Extra spearmint and winterfresh a lot. I have swished hot salty water in my mouth and it did not help one bit.

Is this a serious problem or could it be I just cut my gums or something and made it swell up and it will be gone soon? Is there any way to make the swelling go down?

I have a really sore bump behind my lower back teeth! What is it? How can I treat it?

Hey, I have a really sore bump behind my left lower back teeth. There are no other teeth behind the bump. It's hot pink, like the rest of my gums, but it's a big bump. I can't hardly talk and I can't eat on that side. My mom said it's my wisdom tooth growing in, but I'm 13, so I'm too young (your wisdom tooth grows in between the ages of 17 and 25). I think I've had this kind of sore before, but it hurt just as much as this one. I left it alone, but it eventually deflated and salty puss and a little blood came out. The thing is, I don't want to deal with this again, and I would like to know what it is and how it is treated. I can't schedule a dentist appointment because they won't be able to fit me in for months. Please help!!!

How do you know if your dog's gums are unhealthy?

Bad breath is a big indication of gum disease, as is tooth loss and general mouth discomfort. You can tell if they’re in discomfort due to the fact that they will scratch at their mouths, potentially stop eating, and have bloody/swollen gums. Pay attention to the way your dog’s breath smells, though. That’s very important. If you have just brushed your dog’s teeth, but nothing changes in the way its breath smells, then there very well may be a problem. Giving a dog a little bit of coconut oil can work as a means by which to control oral bacteria, as well. So, if you’re managing its oral health as well as you can, but these symptoms persist, then I would recommend taking your dog to the vet and having them check its gums.

How to turn my gums pink again?

start flossing your gums. Be patient while flossing and since you don't have that much good oral hygiene so there are chances that your gums might be inflamed so it will initially bleed but don't freak out and continue to floss. After couple of days you will become used to flossing and also will the bleeding stop. Do flossing at least once daily before brushing and start using mouth wash. If you will make it a routing of doing flossing, brushing and mouthwash i bet the normal texture of gums will come soon...for detailed info yu can visit the link....http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-dental-flossing-36.aspx
