My mail set folder shows sent by 'me' rather than recipient name. How do I change this back?
As of 10/8/14 yahoo has made a change to their format. It may also be a glitch...time will tell. You will now see ME in your inbox and Sent folders. It used to be you would only see it when Conversations was enabled. Now it seems it is there even if you have not enabled Conversations. If you hover your pointer over ME in your inbox or Sent folder you will see the email address. Otherwise, see below..... NOTE; Depending on how you set up your account the recipients will see your FROM name or Email address in their INBOX. Many users are seeing ME in their emails......emails are being grouped together and other problems they are not used to seeing....To correct those problems you must disable Conversations. =======================================... Disable Conversations in Yahoo Mail Hover your pointer over the GEAR....upper right....while in the INBOX view Click on SETTINGS in the drop down menu..In the next screen........ Remove the check mark to the left of ENABLE CONVERSATIONS Click on SAVE =======================================... =======================================... Yahoo no longer picks the best answer. When you are blocked, Messages will still get to the person who has blocked you. For a message to be read as delivered, The mobile phone reads for an extra broadcast packet of the sms sent and if the packet is not captured, It replies with the string not delivered.Undelivered messages normally occur if the recipient’s line is blocked, been switched off for some time or not available.
As long as the message says delivered to recipient than they will see it, if not. The person will not see it until its says delivered. So if your worried that either you didn't want them to receive the message you don't have to worry about it but I would give it time because sometimes it may take a bit for it to actually be delivered depending on the receiver if their phone is off or don't have no connection. You can always resend the message a bit later or few minutes after the original message in case they did not get it and check if it was indeed delivered. Usually I think facebook does show you if they received it or not, sometimes on messenger you can tell when you press or click on the words and at the right appears if it was delivered or seen by the recipient. Yahoo Mail not sending messages?
Yahoo Mail is not sending my messages. The last ten messages I have sent have not arrived at the destination e-mail. This has been the case for at least the past several hours. I have tested it with several e-mail addresses and domains. I even sent a message to myself and I did not receive it in my Inbox. Any idea what might be causing this and how I might solve it? I have contacted customer support but have not gotten any response as of yet.

Conversations are stored locally (on the device), so you and person X have a separate version of the same conversations. Once you block them you are telling the SC servers that you no long want to receive communications from person X. Anything from that point forward will not transmit to you, however, existing conversations are separate and stored locally. Block the person does not affect their version of the conversation, and if they have saved text conversations they will still be able to access that up to the point of being blocked.

Just tested this with a friend. From our single data point, it appears that Facebook does change the message from Seen to Delivered when the recipient marks it as unread. However, it does take some time for the server to propagate the changes, so it isn't instantaneous.
