How hard is it to get an acting agent?
To be honest, very hard (in most circumstances)Most top agents are never actively looking for new actors. You have to either have a lot of experience (professional work), or a lot of HYPE.That being said, it’s not impossible, and like with anything if you can make a connection at an agency and build a relationship, anything is possible.I would focus first of all on getting as much experience you can. Though the industry is superficial, top agents want great actors. They want actors that are confident and versatile.Once you feel confident enough you need to build up those credits. This may involve signing with a smaller agent to begin with, as long as they aren’t purely an extras agent, they should be able to help open some doors.Side note: drama school is still the best way to circumvent the industry. If you train at a top drama school it is likely you will sign with a great agent on graduating. I'm 13 and want to act? help?
Well im 13 and want to be a actor, but I need to take acting clases(i hear u have to) so I live near pebima hwy and I was wondering if there is a good but cheap place to get acting classes, I'm kinda shy so i dont know how to ask my mom. But i dont know if she can afford it, like were a family of 7 with a single parent(were not rich but not poor) And how long will it take for acting classes? Thnx.
Where do you find agents number for disney channel?
there is no agent for disney channel, each show casts their parts separately, the channel has nothing to do with it. You are not going to get an agent if you are not super talented and have lots of acting experience in school plays and community theatre and so on.

@ ELF haha yeah, thanks for the additional asian moives, tho coincidentally, i'm indian and have watched almost all of the indian ones haha. And yeah i have actually watched Koizora. You just probably missed it in that huge long list. :) as for death note and kimi no todoke, i've read the manga for both, so idk if i'd really be interested to watch a drama/movie on it, but thanks anyway :) @ melinda yeah thanks haha but the only ones i haven't head of from that list was Corner of Love and Silence. Here's how you get into acting: The first thing you need is experience. You should start small and work on building a resume to submit to potential agencies (when the time comes) Audition for school plays and join the drama club. You should also try out for local community theatre shows. Take as many acting classes as possible. Read some books on acting (those by Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Kristen Linklater and Jack Poggi are great). Be sure to get the support of your parents, they can help you a lot. How can i convince my mom to get me an acting agent?
Well, first of all twelve is a young age for an actual agent. You should try an agency, search on google 'good acting agents in new york area' - it depends how far out you live from New York City, if you would be prepared to travel to the City for auditions/interviews. You will need to prove to your mom you want it badly and that that's what you want to do when your older. You need to join a theatre/drama club outside of school to get training and experience.
