Difference between Australian and American separation of powers...?

In Australia, our executive branch of government is interlinked with our legislative (law making) section of governance. I was wondering how the seperation of powers system works in the US, considering that the executive is not linked with the legislative. What are the responsibilities of the US executive and who makes up the executive?

Do you agree, Pauline Hanson should be removed from parliament because she is a woman, and we all know, women are inherently stupid?

Under Islamic Law, women are not allowed to serve in leadership or take on positions of power. Women are not allowed to be out-spoken or educate men in regards to how to govern a nation.

“Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allaah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allaah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allaah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity and their husband’s property)”

[al-Nisaa’ 4:34]

With regard to the witness of two women being equal to the testimony of one man. Allaah has mentioned the wisdom behind specifying the number of two as being that a woman may forget or get confused, so the other woman can remind her, as He said:

“…And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her…”

[al-Baqarah 2:282 – interpretation of the meaning]

With regard to the phrase, “that if one of them (two women) errs”, Ibn Katheer said: “This means, the two women, if one of them forgets the testimony, then ‘the other can remind her’, i.e., she can remind her about the matter concerning which testimony is being given.” (Tafseer Ibn Katheer, part 1, p. 724)

What is australia's Culture consist of?

I have a cultural project about australians & their cultural behavior, I would like to ask all australians out there for help. What is Australia's culture consist of ? how is it different ? & what makes it different from any other culture ?

Is Australia still under British rule?

No, not really. We are a completely sovereign nation that makes its own laws and pursues its own economic and social interests in our region of the world.Since the 1970’s when, PM at the time, Gough Whitlam abolished the Privy Council of Britain and established the High Court of Australia as the highest court of appeal, the monarchy have been stripped back to nothing more than a ceremonial role, and Australia will become a republic in the not-too-distant future, no doubt about it.Technically the Queen still has to sign off on changes to our laws and to the constitution. However, this is not physically done by the queen but done by a PM (or Premier at state level), elected Governor (at state level), and Governor General at Federal level, who MUST hold full Australian citizenship (not British). So basically, the Queen’s rep is an Australian. In fact there has been a recent debacle within our Parliament with ministers who have dual British/Australian citizenship being ousted from Parliament, as dual citizenship is no longer allowed as a representative of Parliament. That is, any representative in Parliament must denounce their dual citizenship and be a full citizen of Australia, I assume to ensure their commitment to the country and to ensure no conflict of interest.Britain is pretty much just seen as another allie of our country these days, like America, not as having any REAL or tangible connection to the running of our country and, as I said, our economic and social interests in the Pacific. The Republic debate looms large over Australia at the moment, and my guess is that within the next 10 to 15 years, we will either be well on our way to becoming a Republic, or actually BE a republic.

Australian Government's Apology to Indigenous Australians -?

Yes, it kind of tainted the wonderful speech that Big Kev gave. I was watching it on the lawns of parliament house and Brendon got more than a few boo's and just about everybody turned their backs to the screen.
