In The State Of Florida What Can I Do If I Can

If you live in Florida, but get a DUI in Georgia, which state would you take online DUI classes for?

Georgia is not a member of the interstate license compact but Georgia Department of Driver services will submit evidence of your DUI conviction to the Florida by mail. How it will effect your home state license is largely dependent on how the letter is processed. Sometimes it will be recognized as a DUI conviction and sometimes just an out of state license hold. You can go to the Georgia Department of Driver Services website where they have a search engine for Certified DUI Schools based on your home state that the Georgia Department of Driver Services will accept.

What job can't an L.P.N. do in the state of florida that a RN can?

I don't know specifically about Florida, but generally speaking LPNs cannot do complex cares like PICC lines or blood draws from PICCs, they cannot administer IV push medications, cannot administer other certain IV medications (usually like TPN and lipids in some places). They cannot assign NANDA approved nursing diagnoses and use them as part of the care plan (RN must assess and diagnose). There are certain patient populations they cannot care for, for example they cannot attend to a laboring woman and attend as the delivery nurse, because they are not trained in fetal monitoring or interpretation, vaginal exams, etc. Those are just a few examples.

If you were to carpet the state of Florida, how long would it take to vacuum it?

1) Find out how many square feet there are in Fla.
2) Find out how long it takes to vacuum a square foot of carpet.
3) Multiply the two numbers.

In the state of Florida, can I kick my roommates out since they are not in the lease?

Bad news, brother. If your roomates WERE paying rent, they established residency or domicile. Also, if they received mail there, that also establishes domicile. You will need to legally evict them in either of these cases. Sorry, that’s just how it is here, legally. They definitely have more rights than you do. File carefully.

Can I bring a puppy into the state of Florida under 8 weeks of age if I buy it in Georgia?

Unless this is some sort of a rescue situation where you are fostering a puppy that's been confiscated, this is utterly reprehensible and illegal.

Any breeder who is selling a puppy under 8 weeks old should be avoided like the plague. I can't stress that enough. It's simply immoral.

Please, do some additional homework and research on how to locate a good breeder.

Is it illegal to leave the state of Florida if you are bailed out of jail by a bondsman?

Thinkaboudit didn't think about it very much. You are not harboring a fugitive if your brother is out on bond, because he is not a fugitive. If he fails to show up in court and a warrant is issued for his arrest -- then he is a fugitive.

Whether leaving the state while on bond is "illegal" depends upon the bond conditions. There may not be any such restriction. In any event, if you don't want to get involved with his problem, tell him to get out & go back to Fla. He can't be facing too much of a problem because a $4k bond isn't very much.

Can Florida give you your drivers license/state ID if you receive food stamps, for free?

I came across information that struck me. Someone told me that one of their family members works for the dmv in florida and said that if you have or receive food stamps, then your drivers ID/state ID is free. Is this true? And can you verify any law or such with a link below.
