Why can’t I send someone messages on Messenger?
It'sbecause they have blocked your messages. Not blocking you entirely, but they might have only have opted out of recieving messages from you. Yes,this can be done.However, once an incident happened with me where it was visible that I was a 'friend’ of my classmate on Facebook, I could post on his timeline yet when he tried to text me for some important issue, he couldn't. Apparantly he thought I had blocked him.But then I 'un-friended’ him and added him again and the text message service was resumed.I think if you know the person, try contacting him/her somehow and then solve the issue together.-Happy wasting more time on Facebook :p

You go into the other person's profile page and there is a 'send private message' option in the top left hand corner. Once you click on it, it brings up the message box then just send when you're done.

This is a very tricky question because it depends on two things:If the person picture is still there this means they blocked you. The picture doesn't disappear straightaway.If their picture is blank from the first moment it said Facebook User, then they have blocked you.I have a friend who loves to block me over little disagreements, then I have another friend who disables his account almost every week, aha.
