In Toms If You Are A 5 In Youth Then What Size Would You Be In Womens

If I wear size 8.5 in women's shoes, what is my size in men's shoes?

A long time ado I was a salesman for local shoe chain. The length equivalent for a women’s 8.5 is a 7, However there is a difference in widths. A mans normal width is a D, while a ladies is a B, so if the woman;s foot is normal width for a lady, the mens 7 will be too wide. I have an interesting story about this in reverse. One time I served a lady with her tween age son he had a men’s size 7 length, but his foot was very narrow. I tried several pairs of men’s size 7 on him and all were too wide I then told them that there was an alternative. I grab 2 pairs pf ladies sized shoes one pair of boat shoes and a pair of penny loafers in a lsdies size 8.5B, the guy tried on both pairs and neither fell off his feet but stayed in place. Mom and son were both amazed.. Then I had to tell them that this was a woman’’s size. I explained the difference and showed the same shoe in a man’s style and eventually they agreed the styles were the same, and I sold a doubleheader two pairs. I also told them this option would only work up to size 8.5 in men’s length (women’s 10) as few ladies shoes come longer, This would not continue to be a problem, for once a mans length reaches 9, then B widths were available.

I need help picking a shoe size in TOMS!?

I love Toms! I am a size 7 1/2 but I always get the size seven. It's always better to generally get the half size smaller. But if you like wearing socks with yours, then choose your perfect size or even a half size bigger for more room. And they will stretch after continued wear, so that's always good if you order a smaller size. The newest ones I own are these ones and I recommend you purchasing them:

I always get great compliments every time I wear them! :)

Can male cats recognize their own kittens?

Male lions, when taking over a new pride, will kill all juveniles and kittens that are not theirs.SOME male cats will do the same thing. I grew up on a farm with a colony of barn cats. There were always strays showing up, and “drop offs”, that people chose to get rid of by dumping “out in the country” . Sadly, most of these were not accepted by the other barn cats and were killed, or driven away. There were always toms wandering in, which fought with the “dominant” males and either became the next dominant male, or were sent packing. Many of these adult toms would kill kittens they didn’t father. Not only does this diminish the competition, it also forces the female back into heat so she can be rebred. We had a favorite tabby that made the transition from being a “part time” barn cat to a “mostly” house cat. She was getting old and produced a single kitten which she tucked under the stairwell of our old, field stone, unfinished basement. Somehow, one of the toms learned she was there and although before, he had avoided coming near the house, he suddenly started hanging around the door and trying to get in. The mother cat would attack him whenever she saw him and we kids used to always chase him away….. but. On one fateful day, when the kitten was less than a week old and mom had left for a few moments, that tom slipped inside as my sister was leaving. She saw him go in and immediately went after him, but he flew down the stairs, grabbed the kitten and raced back outside in a matter of seconds. The kitten gave one shriek and mom appeared from nowhere and attacked the tom. He dropped the kitten when he saw her coming, but it was too late, he’d broken it’s neck.To this day, I’m shocked that he knew where to find the kitten, even when he’d never before been in the house, and that everything happened so quickly. It was probably less than 30 seconds from the time he entered the house until we recovered it’s little body. The female cat licked and licked her kitten trying to revive it and called for days . It was sooooo sad!

How do you know what size to get in Converse shoes?

I always go half a size down. However, it helps to read customer reviews on certain styles of converse shoes. Unfortunately their website doesn’t include that in the product details, but I get my converse shoes from Nordstrom and they have a really good review process, where when you go to select your size it tells you exaclty how it fits and if you should go up or down. They will even let you know if you should go half size down or full size.
