How do I replace trimmer line on weedeater snap-n-go SG11?

If it's like mine you throw it across the yard first, and scream #$%#! you weedeater at it.

Just read the package directions and stick with it. It is a pain in the butt.

A gun in the home makes homicide 2.7 times more likely?

A renowned study by Arthur Kellermann found that keeping a gun in the home carries a murder risk 2.7 times greater than households that did not have guns, and that people are 21 times more likely to be killed by someone they know than a stranger breaking into the house.

The study also found that the increased murder rate in gun-owning households was entirely due to an increase in gun homicides only, not any other murder method or weapon. Furthermore, it found that gun-owning households saw an increased murder risk by family or intimate acquaintances, not by strangers.

So, if people with guns are more likely to be hurt because of their own guns, why argue that the gun is for their safety?

Using bb/pellet gun to scare deer out of yard?

hello. i need some of your thoughts about me using my $30.00 bb/ pellet gun to scare the deer out of my yard. i live in a subdivision where most houses are around 200 to 300 feet away and its basically a forested area. since iam only scaring them away by shooting a bb at them, what kind of trouble could i get in if someone thinks i am shooting them with a real gun? we have spent a lot of money on landscaping and there is no way those deer will have more rights than me or any other person.

Is it ok to oil my BB/pellet gun with clipper oil?

That oil would work fine. Any light oil like clipper oil, sewing machine oil, 3 in 1 or similar will work. On my crosmans you open the pump lever all the way and you should see a foam piece on the actual plunger (there's usually a hole to put oil through). A couple of drops on the foam wiper is all it usually needs.

Since pro-gun people insist that assault weapon refers to fully automatic guns only, what is the proper gun classification name of semiautomatic rifles such as the AR15?

This is a point from Pro-Gun people I don't understand. Weapons that are strictly semi atoumatic are designated as semi automatic. Although every other factor can be exactly the same as “Military Assault Weapons”The Arma-Lite Rifle 15 is exactly identical to the M4. Calibre, Muzzle Velocity, length, sight fixtures, Customization, Recoil buffer system. Adjustability. The key difference is Gun Manufacturers add a selector lever to the AR15 and call it an M4. Honestly the only difference. The M4 has an automatic option and the later variants drop the full automatic in favour of the Three Round burst and it is more accurate and easier to sustain rapid fire with out jams. Each generation of M4 and M16 either have fully auto or three burst. That's is all the qualifies a military weapon from the civilian market.Gun Manufacturers develop new “military weapons” in hopes of better marketing a “civilian version”. Like how car manufacturers develop sports cars with race teams to market their vehicles by showing them off at races.I recently shot a civilian M249. It's identical to the military M249 SAW. Same design, velocity, 100 belt fed box with the option to accept AR15 magazines and same open bolt system. The civilian was semi automatic but the weapon chambered rounds fast enough to nearly replicate the 9 rounds a second rate of fire of the military version. For military doctrine with the exception of automatic riflemen who used short burst only firing 10-15 rounds at a time, riflemen never go to burst or automatic. The Army and Marine Corps both favour precise but fast firing semi automatic fire to satire and engage threats. Accurately putting rounds down range at 300 metres was too challenging for most infantry men. Hell a lot of people I know struggle to hit a paper target with a single well timed prepared shot from 300 metres.Automatic fire resulted in an expensive use of ammunition and didn't provide swift ends to engagements.Giving the army an AR15 will not change how the average infantryman engages and eliminates a threat.Side note, it will remove a step from the standard M4 function check.
