Why do the Nordics have a monopoly on being strong boned, tall/large, and other warrior characteristics?

as far as Europeans are concerned. Weren't all European ethnic groups constantly at war with one another, and doesn't constant warfare strongly influence the physical traits(genes)that survive and also the ones that die off. It seems that the Norsemen are the only ones that have evolved physical bodies that are suited for warfare, most of the other Europeans are rather lean, small boned, and not really all that tall, especially a lot of Eastern Europeans

Why didn't Alexander the Great invade Rome?

In the time of Alexander (the 330s BC), the Persian Empire was a going concern: big, unified, strong, rich. Not only that, it controlled the rapidly growing Silk Road, carrying more trade every year between China, Central Asia, India, West Asia, and Africa. Central Asia, in particular, was making huge profits selling their own horses, Chinese silk, Indian herbal medicines and cotton, West Asian glass and silver, Greek wine and perfume, etc. Possibly India was already beginning to make the high quality steel they became known for in the 200s BC. Alexander saw that just a few battles would be enough to take control of what was already a thriving, stable enterprise.Rome, by contrast, in 330 BC was nothing like an empire. It controlled only central Italy, and was surrounded by competitors: the Etruscans, the Samnites, the Carthaginians. Anyone who took it over would have had to fight all of these separately, and then do the heavy lifting of convincing them to act as a united empire. Furthermore, it was relatively poor. What little Italy contributed to international trade at this time was mostly raw materials like timber and slaves, and some wool cloth. How would the plunder from Italy have paid Alexander’s soldiers?
