In Yahoo Mail I Am Constantly Getting A Request To

Anyone else is getting yahoo account termination notices?

100% scam.

That is a scammer trying to hi-jack your email address to spam all your contacts and then use the account to spam hundreds/thousands of others.

Yahoo and all email companies, all banks and all companies in the entire world will NEVER ask for your password, pin or date of birth. No Exceptions Ever.

Ignore and delete that email and any others demanding such information.

If you have responded to a scammer, you are on his 'potential sucker' list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of needing your password, great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.

Do you know how to check the header of a received email? If not, you could google for information. Being able to read the header to determine the geographic location an email originated from will help you weed out the most obvious scams and scammers. Then delete and block that scammer. Don't bother to tell him that you know he is a scammer, it isn't worth your effort. He has one job in life, convincing victims to send him their hard-earned cash.

Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money, email address or identity to a scammer.

If you google "yahoo email phishing scam", "email hijacked viagara porn spammer" or something similar you will find hundreds of posts of victims and near victims of this type of scam.

In fact, if you check out the section here at Yahoo Answers entitled "Yahoo email, spam and bulk mail" you will find hundreds of questions from victims who have had their email address hi-jacked or spoofed by scammers sending out porn and viagra spam.

Why do I keep getting so many friend request from sluts?

It seems that lately I've been getting a lot of friend request from sluts on facebook. There profile is always the same; their pic is usually their boobs or legs and on their wall they are always giving someone named "John" a password and website to see them naked. Now, I'm not in any groups or anything and I'm under 18...so my profile is basically empty to them(as they never have any mutual friends)..but I keep getting them. :/ How do they even find me?

Yahoo has just locked me out of my own account, insisting that I change my password (just because they say that I must). Should this be a legal action by web sites? Is this similar to having government officials locking people out of their homes?

Do you own Yahoo.com? No? Then it's not "your" account. It's Yahoo's account, which they are granting you access to. Hyperbole about "extorting" at "gunpoint" and "forcing people from their homes" isn't going to help your case when making comparisons to changing your password on a free internet service. If you don't update your password regularly, it is at greater risk of being compromised. This is basic Internet 101. If your account is compromised, it puts other Yahoo users at risk, and forces them to spend time and energy dealing with your own incompetence in securing your account. This is why Yahoo, and most every other website Terms of Service, requires you to take responsibility for your own account security, and expressly tells you that your access may be suspended for this (and often, for any) reason.  Literally every time you use Yahoo, you agree to these terms. What would be a better analogy is why you think you have a legal right not to be forcibly ejected from some random stranger's private house after you refuse to follow their publicly posted house rules. I mean, if we're going with a house analogy.

Why is Yahoo Mail asking for a verification code?

2FA is the only way to counter Yahoo's countless break-in's

In Yahoo! mail, why does it prompt to confirm deleting spam emails, but not to delete regular/safe emails?

I can understand why Yahoo does that to their mail service. You have total control over your regular and important emails. If you accidentally delete something you want, you can always go back and undelete it. I forgot which email service I used allows the option to confirm deleting the regular emails. It worked fine for a little while, but became really annoying. You don't usually check your spam email folder. There is a possibility that they can send something important to the folder. Gmail did that once to one of my professors' emails, so I checked the folder and moved it back to inbox. I guess this is why Yahoo prompt to confirm deleting spam emails.
