Intel Pentium r 4 CPU 2.26ghz?

depends on the board .. since you didn't give enough information .. but it's a P4 board .. i'm willing to say it MIGHT have 1 PCIe slot .. if not, than you'll have to get a PCI sound card ..

go to the manufacturer of your machines website and search for spec's for it .. it should list what available card slots you have .. once you figure that out, get a card to match an available slot (except AGP as it's a graphics only slot)

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz OC HELP!?

Any overclocking should be done through the BIOS. Though there are some applications out there that will allow you to overclock, your best bet to get a good stable clock is to go through the BIOS.

Overclocking can be very risky. Especially is the case with your CPU. That processor has a locked multiplier meaning that you will not be able to just bump up the speed. It will need to be done on the FSB which will effect the speed of everything in your machine. You will then most likely have to make other adjustments to voltages in order to get it stable.

I suggest really doing your homework before attempting any overclock. Take a look at the extreme overclocking forums. Look for tutorials on overclocking Intel CPUs and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Be careful with it and good luck!

How to Overclock an Intel Pentium Dual Core 2160?

OOOH man... THe E2160, my CPUs Brother!!!

With a CPU w/ 9x multiplier, this will be really easy to overclock...

The Max VCore on this is around 1.55V. To just get 2.66 Ghz is soft for such a CPU. It's a really overclockable CPU, and @ stock VCOre, I should get 2.4 NO Problem. I have my bad batch E2180 @ 3.2 Ghz (320 x 10). I got 3.15 (350 x 9) Stable @ 1.5 V. It's easy, and accordingly, you should be able to get 3.15 on air easily. Good or bad batch.

If good batch, you'll probably get 3.4 easily too! You'll need better than stock cooling.

It will do better than the AMD counterpart if overclocked. The Intel PDC is based on the C2D arch. (ie. Conroe), which is better than the AMD's Athlons. At the same speed, the C2D ( i mean PDC) will do better....

Have fun!!!

Can I play PUBG Mobile (with Tencent Gaming Buddy) on an Intel Pentium dual core 2.30GHz CPU with 4GB RAM? The operating system is 64-bit Windows 10.

Mine won’t be a much helpful direct answer. The thing is Tencent Gaming Buddy and PUBG aren’t optimized well for H/W specially PC hardware(note it’s a mobile game). The only way to check is run it and see.REMEMBER to enable virtualization in your BIOS. Then try it with highest settings possible and if unstable lower them one by one and test. Don’t change two three settings at once and check. I know it’s a pain in the a** but it is the only way that I know of.Note : It seems to run better on lower spec machines than higher speced ones. Telling you by experience. My Gaming Laptop has unstable run while my slightly older laptop with much lesser performance runs it better.

I have an old computer in my house (Intel Pentium E2200 CPU, 1 GB RAM). What kind of OS should I install?

The best option is a lightweight Linux distro. Xubuntu is an Ubuntu variant with the xfce UI which has few bells and whistles but is solid Ubuntu underneath. Or go to distro watch and look at lightweight distros there. And definitely upgrade your RAM to the most it will support. It's only 32 bit so you can't go higher than 4GB.  If you're not worried about having a modern OS (and you ought be really, but) the other way to go is Windows XP, almost everything is still compatible but it's not getting security updates any more.

Which OS is better for an old Intel Pentium dual core processor with 2GB RAM?

The answer actually depends on your answers for the following three questions and this is irrespective of your specs.Do you intend to use this for gaming ?Are you absolutely dependent on MS office or Adobe PS for your productivity tasks? (If you are not sure check out the libreOffice suite \ gimp for Windows and yeah, it's free!!)How much are you ready to sweat it out?And now the verdict. If you are an avid gamer and want to play the likes of Witcher, GTA 5 etc. then you are better off with Windows. But if all you want to play is CS:GO or DotA, then you can surely choose any Linux distro or for better performance steam os ( which is also based on Linux). If you are not dependent on MS office \ PS, then look no further Linux should be your choice. Otherwise, tough luck (just kidding!)The third is a purely personal choice. Yes, installation of ubuntu or for that matter most popular Linux distributions is fairly straightforward, but there is always a potential need for you to get your hands dirty and go to the command line. If this doesn't sound like you, then Windows it is!Coming to your specific case, if Linux was your clear choice then as mentioned in another answer, you might like mint or for that matter any mainstream distro. But if you have a Linux geeky friend, an unused usb and some time, I would suggest you to look up puppy Linux (since I have used it). This is based on linux and are designed for low spec systems. The cool thing is they essentially run on the ram and that means considerably faster performance. But please be warned, it is not for the fainthearted since you just get a very basic Linux system with no additional quirks (no package manager, so you will have to compile any application you want). You can google for more information on lightweight linux distros and there is a ton of good information out there.

My computer's RAM is 1GB and processor is Pentium dual core. If I put a Nvidia 2 GB graphic card, will it sustain or can I increase the RAM to 2 GB?

The games you are asking for are very demanding & hardly anyone of them will run on your system with playable fps.Now considering you have Pentium processor & 1 gb RAM suggests that your motherboard is old too & may be using DDR2 RAM only.So before going for these kind of games first you should ensure:Processor atleast @2.5GHz,4GB RAM & then go for a graphic card which can be supported by your motherboard (gt 640,gt740,etc.).One more thing,in general the model no. of your Graphic card is more important than the amount of vram for example 4gb of gt640 is still worst than 2gb of 750ti.Once you put a decent machine together then you are ready to Load&Rock.
