Why does my Internet is not working on Laptops but working on mobile phones?
Sounds like a bad DNS configuration :Step 1 : Launch a run prompt and type into it : cmdHit enter. A command prompt will open up. Typeipconfig /flushdnsand hit enter. Close the window.Go to the taskbar and click on the network icon : Open 'Network and Sharing Center' from the pop up : From the window that opens, choose 'Change adapter settings' from the left hand pane :Right click on your adapter and choose properties : From the connection properties box, highlight 'Internet Protocol Version 4' and click on 'Properties'.Choose these buttons : Click on OK twice to save the settings. This should get your internet working.
Ethernet port not working. Light is flashing on it, but no internet?
The ethernet port on the back of my pc doesn't seem to be working. I have cable internet and I know that the modem is working because the internet will work on my ps3, but when I plug the ethernet cable into the port in the back of my pc, the internet won't work. The light is flashing on the ethernet cable so I don't understand why it's not working. Any ideas???

(RADIUS, 802.1x). If the time is off, the supplicant on your computer may not trust the certificate belonging to the authentication server, and refuse to connect.
Replugging ethernet cable, how to get internet working w/o restarting computer?
I'm in college and sometimes i need to unplug my ethernet cable and when i plug it back in with out restarting the computer, the internet will not work. As in i will have a local access in the network..but not internet access. Is there anyway to type in a command somewhere in command prompt maybe or somewhere else that will allow me to reset the connection without restarting the computer?
Internet still wont work after trying a bunch of methods can anyone help...?
A couple days ago I posted a question in regards to my internet not working and got some responses but nothing works :( my computer experienced a registry error and I fixed it using CHK DSK not when I boot up CHK DSK runs everytime....not sure why?? Also since the registry error my internet will not work everytime I start firefox or explorer its just gives a blank page and the loading bar at the bottom trys to load the page but it never does? I have re-installed firefox and nothing happens... I have tried to make back ups of my winsock and winsock2 registry and delete the old ones and that doesnt work....I have tried multiple reg fixes still nothing...I really have no clue why it doesn't work b/c I have 2 other pcs that run off my Linksys WRT45G and they both work fine... can anyone point me in the right direction thanks in advance...

My rocketfish "Powerline Ethernet Switch" is not working right (i dont know much about internet)?
So basically, this all happened randomly one day when my internet acted funky. I restarted my PC and it was fine. A day or two later it happened again and I couldn't realise what it was. So now it has been a few weeks and now it only stays on for a few minutes and just shuts off basically. On the switch it says it has power, it is connected to my PC but the internet connection LED will not turn on, and when it is, it flashes. Not fast but like blink wait a second blink wait a second, blink. Usually when it starts blinking like that my internet slows down from 30 mbp/s to 3 / 2 mbp/s. I really want to know how to fix it,
