Iphone 5c Vs S4 Active

How do you transfer contacts/photos from the iPhone 4S to the Samsung Galaxy S5?

The procedure is fairly simpleLogin to Icloud.comGo to contacts Select all contacts, then Look for the export option, it will export a csv fileOnce you have the exported file, login to your Google account (the one you will {because you must} use in your device). Go to contacts then import the file. Voila! All of your contacts will be now in your Android device. Hope this helps you.Ps: if you want to keep an updated list of your contacts in both phones, you can sync your contacts to your Google account on your iPhone also. Not sure if you can do it vice-versa tho since Icloud ecosystem is jailish.

Which phone is better: Galaxy S5 or iPhone 5S?

The iPhone 5S is a beautifully designed bit of glass and aluminum kit that sits nicely in the hand. The Galaxy S3 meanwhile is quite a bit bigger in size – where else are you going to stick a 4.8in display? So while it might not be so comfortable for the small-handed gadgeteer when making calls, the pebble-inspired "Hyperglaze" finish on the skinny 8.3mm plastic body looks much more premium than its predecessor, the Galaxy S II.Screen : The iPhone 5S may have pin-sharp text and true whites on that 326ppi Retina Display but a 3.5in smartphone screen just isn't going to cut it anymore. Apple's been outdone by all the other big handset manufacturers on screen size and really needs to give us at least a 4in screen on the iPhone 5. The near edge-to-edge 4.8in Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy S3 is incredible. Hands down, the S3 wins on this round.Storage : Apple's iPhone 5S has three storage variants with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of space depending on how much money you're prepared to spend. All the different models have 512MB of RAM but there's no card storage to be found. The Galaxy S3 has an identical range of options for internal storage at 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB but each of these has 1GB of RAM and micro SD support up to 32GB.iPhone 5S: 124x59x7.6mm, 112gSamsung Galaxy S5: 142x73x8.1mm, 145gWith the Apple iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S5 having 4in and 5.1in screens, respectively, it's clear which one is going to attract buyers after a compact, pocketable smartphone. The iPhone 5S is both thinner and lighter than Samsung's Galaxy S5, measuring 7.6mm thick and tipping the scales at 112g. The Galaxy S5, in comparison, measures a slightly chunkier 8.1mm thick and weighs 145g.Operating systemiPhone 5S: iOS 7Samsung Galaxy S5: Android 4.4 KitKat, custom user interface

Which should I buy, a new iPhone 5S or a Samsung Galaxy S5?

I have used both so I think I can assist you here. But final decision is yours. Both devices are old devices- about 2 yrs old and since they were launched at roughly the same time  they are very similar in performance. So neither of them wins in performance. Galaxy has bigger and more denser display than iPhone. So if you like bigger phone go for Galaxy else go for iPhone. Battery :Galaxy wins here. It has bigger battery and you can easily replace it as well. Camera: your choice again. Galaxy has better specs here and even wins in most cases except in low light scenario. iPhone has more realistic photo- photos looks more natural than over saturated like in Galaxy. Apps in App Store of iPhone is far better than in Play Store. Design and look goes for iPhone. Galaxy still feels plastic despite that leatherly looks.

I just put my old SIM card in my new iPhone and it works fine, but AT&T is telling me that I need to use the new one that came with the new iPhone, why?

I believe that your IPhone 5 works well on 3 G networks and your new IPhone 6 works best on 4 G networks. So the old SIM card may work fine in the new phone but is unable to communicate or detect WiFi or to activate Bluetooth .Do you use these functions or services? WiFi is very useful to you when you need to access the internet. Some places provide free access to the internet, mainly in Malls, or food and beverage providers. The new SIM card that came with the new phone, has been configured, such that you will be able to utilize the full functions of your phone. Your phone number is attached to your new phone through the New SIM card. You can Google IPhone 6 for details of the phone. So, do worry about charges or the government spying on you, unless you are a Person of Interest, being seek by the CIA, FBI, NSA or the Homeland Security.Phone charges were agreed by yourself when you sign up or when you bought the IPhone 6.That being said, charges incurred by your usage of your IPhone for downloading of data or making Long Distance calls are chargeable by the Service provider or phone companies.Hope the above explanation has been useful to you.

Will an iPhone SIM card work in an Android phone?

Absolutely. As long as its the right size. If your Android device uses nano-SIM, then the SIM cards in the iPhone 5 and later will work. If it uses micro-SIM, the SIM cards in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s will work. If it uses the old-fashioned mini-SIM (or "full-size" SIM), the SIM cards in the iPhone 3GS and earlier will work. All the SIMs will work in any Android phone with any SIM card slot, its just a matter of cutting your SIM or enlarging it using an adapter if it is not the right size for your Android phone. For example: if your Android phone uses micro-SIM, and you have an iPhone 6s, which uses nano-SIM, you will need to get a nano-to-micro SIM adapter (very inexpensive; try Amazon if you don't have one) to pop the nano-SIM into the adapter so it will fit in the larger micro-SIM slot. Conversely, for example, if you have an Android phone that uses nano-SIM, and an iPhone 4s that uses micro-SIM, you will need to cut it from the larger size to the smaller size so it can fit in the smaller slot for SIMs. Or get another SIM. This kind of situation usually doesn't happen; iPhones tend to have smaller (and newer-type) SIM card sizes than Android phones. More than likely, it will either fit fine (from nano-SIM to nano-SIM, for example), or it will need an adapter (from nano-SIM to micro-SIM) so it can fit in the Android phone. Sorry for the longer-than-expected answer on a seemingly simple question!

Will an Android phone last longer than iOS?

Is this opposite day?iPhones tend to last between 4–6 years. It’s 2017 and I know people who are still using their iPhone 4 which was released in 2010. Apple offers OS updates to iPhones for four generations. That’s 4 years after the launch. Some features aren’t available because of required hardware support, but the security updates and most of the other features are. What’s more, the phone doesn’t cease to function. Not getting a new feature is not “obsoleting” a phone. For comparison, take a look at the top Android phones of 2010 and tell me how often you see them in the wild: Leaderboard: The 12 best Android smartphones of 2010. If you think that the updates make the older phones harder to use, simply don’t update. Now if you get an Android phone, the minute you walk out of the store with it the company that manages updates, the carrier, has lost all incentive to push out updates to you. Their interest is purely in getting your monthly bill and getting you to buy a new phone as soon as possible. As a result, most Android phones don’t get updates even months after their release. There are Android phones that are released in 2016 that won’t get the version of Android that was released in 2016. The ones that do will get it months and sometimes years later.Android and iOS fill different niches in the smartphone world and neither one is objectively superior. There are plenty of good reasons to switch from iOS to Android, but the one you bring up is not one of them. This is like complaining about the air quality in Montana and moving to Beijing.

Is it possible for a thief to bypass the 'Activation Lock' and reinstall an iOS7 device without the owner's password? Do thieves still have a strong incentive to steal iPhones? Can jailbreaking get around the 'Activation Lock'?

Probably, but not by the average thief.a) There is no known way to get into an iPhone that has activation lock enabled and reinstalling iOS 7.b) Your friend can sign into his iCloud account at iCloud and use Find my iPhone to find it, and help lead authorities to the thief.c) You cannot jailbreak an iPhone without unlocking it and disabling Find my iPhone.c1) Even if the thief were to get into the phone and jailbreak it (maybe without activation lock), jailbreaking does not disable activation lock or any iCloud-related settings.c2) You must enter a password to disable Find my iPhone in order to jailbreak.c3) The thief would have to jailbreak straight from the computer, so it would not disable FMI or Activation Lock.Hope this helps! If you need any clarification, feel free to leave a comment.
