Which is the best phone: Moto x (2nd gen), HTC One e8 or Xperia z1 (considering all the specs(like camera, sound, storage) and updates)?
I have used all of those, and I will give my suggestion on several fieldsBuild Quality -> Moto X >>> E8 = Z1Moto X is much more robust than either of the 2, and feels better in hand too.OS and Smoothness -> Moto X > E8 = Z1No bloat= smooooooth experience. However the other 2 are very smooth too.Camera -> Moto X = E8 > Z1Believe it or not, 20Mp or not, Z1 camera sucks big time, its not good at all. X and E8 have similar cameras, those arent too good too, but definitely better than Z1Sound -> E8 > Moto X >> Z1E8's dual speakers are much better than the other 2. X has a good front speaker too. Z1's speakers are crappy due to waterproofing measures.Updates and support -> Moto X > E8 > Z1Motorola is better at updating their devices. HTC comes a close second. Xperia Z1 is already at the end of its life cycle, it wont get any more updates, also Sony's SW is often buggyPerformance -> Moto X = E8 > Z1The newer S801 chipset is faster than the Z1's S800. Z1 has the slowest S800 variant at only 2.15 GHz. However the S800 is no slouch too, its blazing fast too.Screen -> Moto X = E8 >>>>>>> Z1Moto X's AMOLED panel and E8's IPS panel are quite equal. I prefer the rich colours of X, but E8's natural colours are equally good.Z1's old MVA LCD tech has horrible colours and viewing anglesCustom Support -> Z1 > Moto X > E8Z1 has more custom support as of now, as its an older phone.I believe Moto X will over take it soon. E8 comes lastBattery Life -> Z1 > E8 > Moto XZ1 has better battery life than the other two. E8 is a close second. Moto X battery is average at best.Uniqueness -> Moto X = E8 = Z1All have something unique. Moto X has the multiple IR sensors for a smarter experience (auto wake up, voice action via 4 mics etc). E8 has the boomsound speakers. Z1 has waterproofing.Storage -> E8 = Z1 > Moto XE8 and Z1 have SD card slot, which is a good thing. 16GB in Moto X is a bit limiting for me atleastValue for money -> Moto X = E8 > Z1The pricing is just better for the hardwareOverall, I suggest you take Moto X if you plan on tinkering with it, or want a smooth stock experience or HTC E8 if you want a better media experience and VFM package. Xperia Z1 is not even in the consideration.Hope I helped.
IPhone 5S or Sony Xperia XA or HTC M9? What should I buy?
I really can’t understand why you choose these 3 old phones.But as your question the answer goes tohTc One M9 (One of the flopest phone of hTc 2015)But it has SD 810 which is a great advantage for playing any kinds of heavy games. But the camera of M9 was one of the worst of 2015’s flagship.iPhone 5S has no chance overall to choose it in 2018 if not you are Apple lover.Xperia XA has only 2300MA Battery & heating issues.Verdict :If you want premium feel under budget then take any of 2016’s flagships such ashTc 10, S7, LG V20 etc.But there are 3 leading midrange Phones recommended for you such asHuawei Honor 7X, Xiaomi MI A1 & Note 5 Prime.
Is the iPhone 5S worth buying in 2017?
When iPhone 5s was released, it was like a truck's engine fitted in a sedan car. As powerful 64-bit A7 chip was calibrated with 1 GB RAM and only 1560mAh battery. The chip in the iPhone 5s is way more powerful than it needs to be.No. It is not worth buying as it's already too late now. I am using 5s and I can feel the obsolescence. It has made me to regret even more after updating it to ios10. Metallic body looks sleek & handsome, but gets hot unnecessarily.But I should say the phone hasn’t loosen up its smoothness, multitasking and CPU handling capabilities. RAM size, as always, is not an issue for any iPhone. It is still better than any other phones released four years back. Performance of Camera and fingerprint scanner is commendable and unmatched, sure. If I get annoyed/lagged/hanged by any app, I just press the only home button. This is all time savior and rescuer. The phone is still too smart for those who had already bought it before.Major problem and concern is its battery and the aging hardware. Obviously, both will only deteriorate with time.Edit 1: iOS 10.3.2 update did solved many of the issues with app.Edit 2: Apple is now signing iOS 11 for 5s. Its amazing.Edit 3: iOS 11 made the iPhone 5s brand new with all its new and fresh features. But as predicted, battery and hardware are performing in their edge limits. Phone is still smooth.Conclusion: I have used the phone from iOS 8 to 11. So far, iOS 9.3.3 was overall the best for 5s.
Should I get my mothers iPhone 5s 16 GB or buy a phone my budget is not more than 30k many would say take 5s but I love gaming and I also agree iPhone will run games with ease and it is long lasting phone but I am still confused I am an android user and I sometimes feel its screen size is too small?
Try getting iPhone 5S 64 GB or 6 64 GB.Your doubtful thought about 16 GB is correct. Since, you will have some apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Plus you will need more space because apps are becoming big due to new iOS requirements, features and systems. 64 GB is enough for anything.I don't recommend Android because from my experience, I loved iPhone 5 more than Sony Xperia Z and SP. I only spent 5 minutes with iPhone 5 and a week with iPad, I loved it both more than an Android.Getting an iPhone won't slow you down because iPhone uses eMMC which faster than normal Android phones out there. eMMC is a memory card type that is between 300-400 MB per second speed where micro SD cards for Android smartphone is only 48 MB per second (megabit), in megabyte micro SD is 6 and eMMC is above 50. This won't lag.I really recommend iPhone but with higher capacity. You won't last a day with iPhone 16 GB.
