Iphone 5s Screen Glitching

How do I fix a purple screen on iPhone 6?

Well..Recently I had a similar issue on my iPhone 6s but was not consistent. Sometimes the screen turns pinkish(something like Inverted colours) and distorted lines used to run all over the screen. And sometimes it used to work fine.Identifying that it could be some hardware related, I tried to replicate the issue by slightly pressing the screen with my thumb. At one point (in my case- right below the right corner of the receiver), I could replicate the issue.I took my phone to the nearest Apple service center and replicated the issue by slightly pressing the screen in that area. Later they ran a diagnostics and identified that it is a display related problem . I submitted my phone and they replaced the display after which it is working like a charm. They did not charge me a single penny as my phone is covered under warranty. So, if your phone is still covered under warranty, go to the nearest Apple service center and replicate the issue if possible. Or else ask them to run the diagnostics and check for display related issues. If an issue is found, they will make sure that it’s been fixed without charging you any money. If your phone is out of warranty, you will get to pay for the display replacement.Make sure you backup your iPhone before you go to the service center as you may need to submit your device. Upon submission, they will reset the phone to factory settings which will erase all the data on your iPhone. Once you get your phone back, you can restore from the backup. One liner:It couldn’t be a software issue and hence nothing can be done from your end to fix it. Take it to the authorized Apple Service center and they will replace the screen for you.

How do I fix a blurry/purple screen on iPhone 5? What is wrong?

That issue is usually caused by either a severe drop that damaged or loosened and internal connections, or the screen was replaced by a third party display of low quality. Try sticking a sticky note to the front of your phone. If it sticks, you have a third party display and were likely ripped off by a repair shop or whoever sold you the phone. If it's a genuine display, take it to the Apple Store and they'll take a look at it. They can reseat all the connections and that may be all it takes to fix it.

Should I get the iPhone 6 or iPhone 7?

I love Apple and have a mid 2010 MacBook Pro that I still love. It has been working flawlessly ever since I bought it. I am an Android user switching to iOS. I use my phone for calls, messages, whatsapp, facebook, browsing, music, movies. I do not play games. I can still get an iPhone 6 at a cheaper price and do not see any significant difference between the 6 and 7. I already have a $900 DLSR kit for taking pictures so the camera does not matter to me.

Which should I buy?

Why is my touch screen desensitizing?

Today my touch screen all of a sudden isn't working very well. I have to repeatedly push the screen until it finally works. It's not really when I'm typing but when I'm trying to unlock the screen or get into my messages or hang up a phone call. It has a screen protector on it, but it hasn't had this problem before until now so i don't think it has to do with that. It hasn't been cracked or water damaged so I don't know why it's all of a sudden desensitized. What can I do to fix it?

What are some glitches\problems that were faced by iPhone users that are like the ones faced by Android phone users?

hello ,there is two major glitches1-storage capacity is unaccuratein iphone 16GB storage capacity is the lowest storage option that they provide in past now they have just 32GB and 64GB and 128GB,268GB so this glitch is present in all storage options accurately glitch it storage indicators is not accurate i mean in 16GB storage we have just 13GB to 11 GB means we cannot see the accurate space occupy by system or OS so all storage is not completely comes in any storage option.2- control center when we want to access control center from any app or browser we simply swipe up the screen from bottom to top but when we swipe nothing happen but we accidently scroll up in browser or in app so we want to access control center but app or browser scrolling comes first. this is annoying for iphone 5s or even iphone SE which have small screen note: i did not face any of control center issues in iPhone 6,6s,6s plus 7,7plus models.if you have more glitches that is not mentioned here please leave comment.

White lines on my iPhone 5s have appeared and I can't tap there. I took it to a shop to fix it, but the lines appeared again. What's going on?

After Googling the problem, (I never understand why people don't do this themselves?), it appears to be one, (or more), of several things:1. Bad digitizer connecter (most likely cause?)2. Poor battery charge, (several reasons why)3. Flex cable going to LCD screen is damaged The following is an answer that many had success with,  according to the site quoted. If none of these solutions work, call the people who "fixed" your phone. If you don't have a warranty on the repair, go to another place that does. But, try these at "home steps" first. "I am a professinal phone repairer from down under and, as everyone else, I too experienced the white vertical lines or the white squares issues.I have done some research and experimenting and now I deal with the problem effectively. This solution is only for lines or squares on LCD. It's a solution intended for professional repairs, many amateur repairers do damge the LCD while attempting the repair. Here come some considerations valid for most of the cases:1 - The problem doesn't come from a deffective screen.2 - This problem is typically experienced with several screens on the same phone.3 - The problem arises from static electricity.4 - The problem doesn't occur often with original screens.5 - Problem is much more likely to happen with low or deteriorated batteries. So when I encounter the problem in a particular phone I follow this sequence:- Unplug the screen- Unplug the battery- Wait 30 seconds- Brush screen contacts- Replug the screen and make sure connectors sit properly- Replug battery- Test againI follow this sequence 2 - 3 times at least. If problem unsolved:- Try a new screen (keep previous screen, will be good for the next repair)- Follow previous process againIf problem still unresolved and battery low or deteriorated (soft or inflated), charge or replace the battery and test again.- If problem still persistent, leave the LCD on the phone and explain the costumer. Problem will typically disappear after 1-3 days or after recharge, if not, reimburse (hasn't happen to me so far)."https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/V...

IPhone 7 or iPhone 6s plus?

Its your choice. I would personally stick to an iPhone 6s Plus because of the headphone jack. But if you want faster, newer, more water resistant phone, than go for the iPhone 7. In my opinion, the iPhone 7's new features wasn't worth the upgrade, and wasn't very different from iPhone 6s Plus. Ive watched a video on youtube saying that the earphones with the headphone jack was better quality than the one that comes with the iPhone 7; its still wired, but it was the lighting cable instead of the headphone jack. I would prefer iPhone 6s Plus and wait for iPhone 8, but its really your choice. Not much changed, and for the water resistant part, don't mistake the word as 'water proof'. Its not water proof, its just water resistant. Meaning you cant go swimming or anything with it, but you can drop it in water (1 Meter ) for 30 minutes, it would still work. I mean i find it fine without dropping my phone being 'water resistant' because i've never dropped my phone in the water in the past. If your wondering, the airpods (bluetooth apple earphones) doesn't come with the iPhone 7 when you purchase it, but it will come with a normal wired apple earphones and this lighting cable connect end thing that ables you to plug the earphones into your lighting port and listen to music. And another thing, if you are upgrading it to iPhone 7, there will be size difference in screen size. iPhone 6s Plus has bigger screen. If you are used to the big screen, you might need some getting used to to the smaller screen. (Which is not that big of a deal but if you love big screens, then the iPhone 6s Plus might be better for you.) You should watch some youtube videos on the cameras because they explain better than me and has actual pictures to compare to. Hope this helped ;)

Edit: This video explains the difference in camera between iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s Plus.
