Iphone Fell In Toilet Turned Off Itself With Led Light On

I dropped my iphone in water and now it won't turn off?

Hello. As I said, I dropped my iPhone 4s in water several hours ago, and since then, it's been in and out of a bag of rice. It's been working fine, except it randomly restarts itself, and if I try to turn it off, it just comes right back on. How long should I keep it in the rice, and would letting the battery run dead help with the power issue?

Is it safe to have the flashlight on my phone on throughout the night?

So I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7 and I like to use the Apple control center alot for music, brightness, etc.. So I was wondering is it okay to have it on throughout the night while I'm sleeping because I like to get up at least two or three times during the night to use the bathroom to get a drink of water whatever because I like to have a light in the room and if I don't have a light then I will bump into something, or break something or whatever and no it's not because I'm afraid of the dark I'm just fine with the dark I just like to have a light so I can see if I get up in the middle of the night so I was wondering is it safe to have it on all night the flashlight feature on my iPhone 5 if it is not please state why it is not safe and if it is then great please let me know ASAP and please be honest and thanks.

Which iPhone 4S Case: Lifeproof VS Otterbox Defender Series?

I had the Lifeproof for a while but I switched to the Otterbox Defender. Did a side by side comparison .

Lifeproof Pros: Waterproof, etc. etc., Slim profile.
Lifeproof Cons: Hard to hear when everything is sealed up (even with volume on max), very tight charging port hole (NONE of my aftermarket charging cables fit; only my 2 original Apple cables [I use an Apple cable to watch Netflix in my bedroom at night & had to use an adapter = pain-in-the-butt), Flashlight covering is small and limits the amount of light coming out, A slight bit of room between the screen protector and phone (meaning you must be certain to make contact with the phone screen when pushing down). Plastic case slips easily in my fingers.

Otterbox Defender Pros: Very tight fitting case. All 3 speakers, 2 cameras, charging port & the LED flashlight are NOT covered (sound is great, pics are fine & the flashlight is MUCH brighter. Also, ALL of my aftermarket chargers fit = no more adapters [I use the Apple cable to watch Netflix in my bedroom at night). Screen protector is right on the screen (any touches feels like the phone itself). Rubberized outside has good feel, grip. Comes with swivel belt clip/holster.
Otterbox Defender Cons: All holes open = NOT waterproof. Slightly bulkier (but not by much but MUCH better than their old style).

Here's the dimensions for the 2 boxes:

Lifeproof = 2.6" (W) x 5.08" (L) x 0.52"(D), Case Weight = 0.98 oz.

Otterbox = 2.7" (W) x 4.80" (L) x 0.80" (D), Case Weight = 1.9 oz.

I LOVE the Lifeproof waterproof aspect but the Otterbox just feels better and works easier.

Did you know Otterbox is working on a new Armor series? Due any day...

Hope all that helps. Good Luck.

Water Damaged Digital Watch!! PLEASE HELP!!!!?

Hi I have a digital Timex watch that is supposedly water resistant up to 100 m. I usually take my watch off when I take a bath anyways, but I was just coming back from a cold track practice and my hands were too numb to take it off. Anyways, after I came out of the bath, I noticed that the display was foggy and it looked like there was water inside.

I thought it would just fix itself so I left it on the kitchen counter to dry. About 2 hours or so later, the watch was working fine, but this morning the display only showed random dashes and not numbers. I know the battery's still working because I can see the seconds "numbers" constantly moving, and I can use the buttons (except for the light button)

Since I was rushing to school, I quickly looked up for a solution and found somebody that said to place the watch in a bag of uncooked rice to take out the moisture, as you would do with an iPhone, for example. When I came back from school, there didn't seem to be any improvement. Shortly after that though, the buttons also stopped working. I left it sitting on my desk again and the buttons are finally working again.

The current state of my watch is a display with only a few dashes instead of numbers; all buttons except for indiglo (light) working, and a foggy screen.

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO TO FIX IT!!
