Iphone Got Stolen Out Of The Car

What happens if I report a cell phone as lost/stolen?

My boyfriend, the genius that he is, lost his phone at work today. Being that he works for a lawn care company, it could be at any of the many yards he works on. He doesn't remember if he even had it today at work. He searched the house and car and it's not turning up. The phone was on earlier when he called looking for it, but now it's off. I'm sure the battery just died, but who knows.

Anyone know what Sprint's policy is on something like this? We do have the insurance on the phone. We don't know if he lost it at work, or if someone took it from his truck.

Help?! =)

Iphone stolen at school, what can I do?

Long story short, my son had is Iphone taken or lost (we are not sure) from him during lunch, straight out of his of his backpack. We didn't realize it until I received by text images of the people (kids and teachers) of whom the phone some how came into possession of throughout the day. They were attempting to unlock the phone, and I know this because of an app I installed on the phone in feat that this would happen. The app takes a picture of anyone who attempts to unlock the phone and fails, sending the picture to my email along with GPS coordinates. So now I have a bunch of pictures of multiple kids who attempted to unlock the phone. Some pictures they were covering the camera because they figured out it was taking pictures. This gives me an incline that the intentions were purely malicious. My question is, if with evidence (pictures of teachers and kids who attempted to open the phone) the school does not assist in finding it, can I sue? I would understand if there was no evidence, then I could not blame the school. That would be like blaming and suing GM or Ford because my car stereo was stolen. But in the presence of overwhelming evidence, if they do not cooperate what can I legally do in retaliation?

If my Tesla is stolen, could I shut it down remotely, like my iPhone?

I don’t think you can. However, if the thief is not savvy and didn’t disable the GPS tracking, you can track where your car is with your iphone and send the police there. The other thing you could do is wait for the thief to park, get out of the car, and you lock it.There is also valet mode, which prevents the car from driving above 70 mph, so he can’t floor it really hard either.I don’t know if this is a good idea but you can honk the horn. Personally I would just sit there and horn the horn continuously until the thief gets out of my car.

Can an Iphone be tracked?

Today some thugs broke into my dad's car and stole his iphone. He's really upset about it and I feel bad that this happened to him. I was wondering if there's anyway I could track the location of his iphone (I also have an iphone). I found one app: Find My Friends but in order to track I'd need to send an invite to the phone and well, needless to say I doubt whoever stole his phone would accept a "Find My Friends" invite.
This is especially nerve wracking because the phone has all his personal information on it and he doesn't have it locked so they have access to all his contacts. My dad is a chauffeur so he has some VIP names on his phone for whenever they come into town (actors, business people, etc) and the situation doesn't look good.
What can we do?

How do I unlock a lost iPhone 6 phone?

Someone sold me a stolen car yesterday...legally can I get my $ back?

Can I get my money back if they lie to the police and tell them ... "we bought it stolen ourselves and didn't know."

Yesterday I bought a car from someone who had an ad on Craigslist. Didn't notice but the person had swapped out the VIN # plate next to the windshield and falsified the title.

Well the car was reported stolen I found out when I called the police to ask about the car's history when I noticed the title looked strange and some of the VIN # looked tampered with.

I have the person's phone number and where one of them work after looking them up through an Iphone that pulled up one of their online facebook. They were selling it "as a car they had bought but didn't need after all".

If he tells the cops, "I didn't know it was stolen when I sold it to this guy" is there any way for me to get my $ back from him?
