Ipod 5ios Not Charging

IPhone, iPad not charging: CHARGING NOT SUPPORTED WITH THIS ACCESSORY?

JUST FIGURED IT OUT THIS MORNING BECAUSE I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.

I have iPhone 2g, 3G & 3GS + first iPad 1. All came with the big with first series charger,,,,,My sisters iPhone 4 use a smaller charger that you plug the USB into. I took my iPad 1 & used the small one and it WORKED,,,,,then I tried one that was not sold by apple & it WORKED.

So I thing the problem is the older plus that are larger than the iPhone 4 chargers. My iPhone 2G is on IOS 3.1.3. My iPhone 3GS is on IOS 6.0.1. My iPad first series is on IOS 5.1.1. It took me a this whole week to figure this out but now it's figured & wright now typing without the BIGGER charger is working fine (-:

Can charging my iPod Touch too much destroy the battery?

I'm not talking about charging too much
I use my iPod Touch A LOT and it drains battery quickly
And I think I charge my iPod Touch at least 2 times everyday
I do not charge at night when I'm sleeping or if nobody's taking care of my iPod Touch because I know it's a waste of electricity (I think)
But we only have one charger for the whole family
Everytime I use the charger, my sister will also need it and for her to get the charger from me is to tell me not to charge my iPod Touch because it will destroy the battery even though I only just began charging my iPod Touch
Anyway, I just give her the charger everytime she asks for it, not because I believe in what she told me, but because I want her to stop annoying me, even though I know it won't be the last time she'll ask for the charger.
And I'm getting sick and tired of her bullcrap that I'm still not sure if it's true or not.

I have an iPod Touch 2G and it's freaking IOS 4.2.1
I'm not really so sure if you even need the information but, whatever, here it is just in case.

So anyway, if you want to help me on this problem, try to get some points by answering this question.

PS: I have already tried searching it on Google but it's not proof enough for me. Plus I don't really even understand what othee people are trying to say :P

Anyway, thanks in advance (if somebody WILL answer me)

How can I get iOS 6 on iOS 4 with iPod touch 2g

Unfortunately, iOS 6 will not be supported on the 2nd generation iPod.According to Apple, the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPod touch 4th gen will all run iOS 6.It is a very old device and does not have the necessary system requirements to run iOS smoothly, if at all. I currently have iOS 6 beta 1 on my iPhone 4, and I do notice some lag so I would expect it might be time to upgrade.

My iPad says its not charging, but then it does…Has anyone seen that?

It has ever happened with my iPad mini 4. However when I tried replacing my old USB & a wall plug with a new one and am glad the issue got resolved till to-date. The iPad clearly displays the green battery while on charge and I realized the real problem was the lose old iPad charger.

My iPod Touch 5 won't turn on or charge!?

My iPod was working perfectly yesterday & it had full battery before I fell asleep but when I woke up it had no battery & it wouldn't charge! I checked if it was just my cord so I tried my brothers charger & it still doesn't! It just says it's charging but it doesn't. It's neither of our cords that don't work cause when he's charging his phone it was perfectly fine. I'm probably gonna go to the apple store tomorrow but I just wanted to ask if there is something else I can try. Any ideas?

Why does my iPad say 'not charging' even when it is plugged in?

The problem: The iPad says it’s "Not Charging", and two things could happen:it is not chargingit's actually charging, but really slowly. The issue here is that iPad is receiving enough power from the charger to operate, but it's not enough to charge the battery. The iPad requires certain power level to charge normally. For example an iPad Mini usually uses about 1.7W-2.2W while you're using it. If the charger only passes this amount or less, then you’ll get the “not charging” message. To solve the problem, you have to check 3 things:chargercableUSB port/ outletThe problem is caused by one of these 3 elements.Your USB port could be old (not high-power), the cable can be damaged, or the charger could be a cheap, non-MFi-certified charger, or maybe an iPhone charger. If you use the regular iPad charger with the original cable + power outlet, you shouldn’t see this message. Also, in some cases on USB port of the computer will charge the iPad, and the other won’t.But if you turn off the iPad it will charge faster as it will not use energy while you are charging it.

How can you fix an iPod Shuffle that won't charge?

Try syncing it with your computer and resetting it. If that doesn’t work then the battery is probably at fault. If you’re confident in your own do it yourself abilities then order a replacement battery from eBay or Amazon, watch a YouTube video and replace it yourself OR go to one of those companies that replace it for you or better yet, take it to Apple and pay them to do it.

Is the iPhone 5S going to support iOS 12?

I would say it wont be able to receive iOS 12 as many features have been left off from the 5s with iOS 11 . It has had 5 years of updates and revisions and very well could be retired this year . I have one and it is a great phone but its heyday has long past . The iPhone SE is a worthy replacement if you want that form factor still and will receive updates for an additional 3 years .UPDATE : With the 2018 WWDC announcement the iPhone 5s will receive the iOS 12 update , thats 6 years of os updates and revisions . The longest so for iPhones .

Why does my iPad keep saying "not charging" when I'm using its original charger plus airplane mode on and brightness all the way down?

Tests based on an iPad 5:It reports “not charging” when plugged into an ordinary computer USB 2 port, which supplies a maximum of 0.5 A.This indication goes away, and the iPad displays the “charging” lightning bolt signal, when connected to an iPhone charge adapter that supplies 1 A maximum. It also charges (at a higher rate) when connected to its own charge adapter, and displays the lightning bolt.So “not charging” probably just means that the iPad thinks it is connected to a plain 0.5 A USB port, which doesn’t provide enough current to usefully charge the battery while also running the iPad. I’ll bet that if you put the iPad to sleep, even a 0.5 A USB port would eventually charge the iPad - but there wouldn’t be any indication of that because the screen is off. However, with the original charger, and a good cable, you should not see this message. Try swapping the charger, even if the new one is a 1 A iPhone one. Try swapping to a different cable. The cable only needs 2 wires to be intact for the iPad to see 5 V and decide that it is connected to a USB port, but all 4 wires (including 2 data lines) need to be intact for the iPad to see the special signaling that Apple chargers provide to indicate how much current they can supply. If neither of those work, check for dirty connectors (all 4 places).
