28 Days Later or Children of Men...?

Good question!! This is really hard, I like 28 Days Later, but I recently watched Children of Men and I like it a lot! Umm... I am going to have to go with Children of Men...it was amazing.

Is the film "28 Days Later" scary, and would it make a good Halloween movie?

Yes it's very scary and would make an excellent Halloween movie. Both the zombies and the humans in this film are equally threatening! If you decide to watch it you can expect to enjoy the fantastic screenwriting of Alex Garland, great performances from the cast and wonderful directing from none other than the great Danny Boyle. Enjoy.

What’s the scariest haunted house in the world?

The AMITYVILLE HOUSE, Amityville, Long Island, NY.“The house found certain people interesting and others not. It liked being fed by people, it liked having people come over to choose from and play with.”-George Lutz“Amityville is a case that affected our personal lives more than any case we’ve ever worked on, because it followed us. It followed us right here to our home, it followed us on the road. We had very dangerous things happening to us as a result of the Amityville case.”-Lorraine WarrenThe Amityville House was owned by mass-murderer, Ronald DeFeo Jr., who had killed six members of his family in 1974. It was then put on the market and bought by the Lutz family a year later, who experienced well-documented paranormal activity during their 28 day-stay in the home.Dozens of priests, investigators and criminologists would visit the house to review the paranormal activity, according to George Lutz, the father and buyer of the house- this included the famed paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren. Many claims were made about their experiences- found within The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson- such as how George saw his two daughters in one of the windows, but then found them fast asleep with a rocking chair rocking back and forth. One the most famous claims is the hung crucifix which turned upside down at one point, as well as the flies that would swarm the home during the Winter.

How possible is it that the events of 28 Days Later could happen?

If your asking about scenarios where it could happen then… Scientists discover a way to increase the effect of adrenaline on the body, and attempt to create super soldiers, however the super soldiers die, and then reanimate. Now, their stronger, faster, and the modified adrenaline has become infectious. Scientists discover a way to bring people back from the dead. However, they come back completely insane, and end up commuting suicide, which doesn't take. From there they just attack everything they can, infecting others with the compound used to bring them back which ends up making them zombies. These zombies also dont care about their own well-being, just spreading the misery. They also cant die. Ever. No matter what you do theyll come after you. To stop them you have to obliterate them. A bioweapon (modified parasites) is in its early stages of testing gets released into the air when terrorists attack the cdc with a radioactive bomb. This mutates the bioweapon, creating a parasite that quickly spreads through the air everywhere. It targerts people who are stronger, because they make better hosts. The people dont die, but they do end up bleeding a lot and leaking bodily fluids to help spread themselves. They're also immune to antibiotics.

How do i get rid of scary movies stuck in my head?

Right before you go to bed watch a funny movie or read a silly book. This usually helps me. Also, sleeping in the bed with someone else helps a lot with my nightmares. Do that if it is an option for you. Lock your door to your bedroom if you can, and do whatever rituals you need to to reassure yourslef that you are safe (check under the bed.closet/etc). These little things can do a world of good. Good luck, I know what you are going through!

Am I correct in thinking sequels to movies like 28 Days Later are spoiled by suits who jump on a surprise hit that they initially ignored and start dictating plot, casting and other decisions? If true; why do they keep doing it?

That’s because when the “suits” do get it right, it’s invisible. No one complains but no one will ever attribute the success of the show to the suits. Instead all the actors and directors are patting one another on the back in interviews.Similarly, there are tens of thousands of teachers doing their jobs right. They don’t get all that much recognition, but the moment a teacher does something wrong, it is trumpeted across the media. It’s like many things in life - if you do something right like you should, it’s expected and no one says a thing. When you do something wrong, word may get out and you end up being punished, castigated, etc.
