Is 29.8 Seconds A Good 50 Yard Time

What is a good time for a 50 meter sprint? (13 years old)

Try to get it under 7.As I am also 13,I run 100m in 12seconds or sometime 11.90. So just try to improve your mental power than physical. While running don't notice the pain instead of that memorise that WHY YOU HAVE STARTED.

Is 5.5 seconds for the 50 yard dash a good time?

I m a male. When I was 16, I was running a 5.5 second 50-yard-dash. I can tell that I m actually even faster now, like so much that I m confident I could bring it down to 5.3. My fast-twitch fibers seem extraordinary, but I ve never really trained for anything in my life. This is just my natural speed. I reached full speed after one step basically. If I m getting this time, should I be training? Like is there any possibility that I, some 18 year old kid raised on a farm in a small town, could possibly break any world records? How much room is left for improvement? I ve been telling my family that I want to get my athleticism tested, where could I get that professionally done? I ve been watching NFL players and their quick-feet drills, though for some reason I ve literally noticed that they are all slower than me! I just don t believe it.

Average time in 50 yard dash?

6.8 is probably a little on the slow side for high school, but not too bad. James that answered he ran it in 4.6 is on bad crack - the fastest NFL recievers and corners run a 40 in about that time. Anything 6.0 and below is pretty good in high school.

Is a 28 second 200m dash good for a sophomore first 200 of the season (no spikes)?

For a girl, it’s decent. You could do well at some local meets and place okay at districts (probably at the middle of the pack). You wouldn’t qualify for states or regionals but it’s a good starting point for a sophomore girl. If you are just starting out, then you might drop time quicker and put yourself in a competitive position. For a guy, it’s unfortunately not competitive. You might do okay in JV meets but at districts it would be last by a couple seconds. To be in the middle of the pack on varsity, you would have to run in the 23’s. Keep training and your time will drop.Good luck this season

This time is okay, right?

I swam varsity during the high school girls' swim team, and I'm in 7th grade. I swam in 4th and 5th grade, and only returned the beginning of this season. My question is, are these times good?
(I'm a 13 year old girl)

50 yard freestyle: 29.82

100 yard butterfly: 1.24.something

100 yard freestyle: 1.10.something

500 yard freestyle: 7.05.something

Those are the only ones I remember off the top of my head.

These are good times, correct?

Sure hope so...

If not, what times should I shoot for?

If someone were hit by a flare shot out of a flare gun what would happen to them?

If you shoot yourself in the head with a flare gun, you get a really embarrassing obituary.Shooting yourself elsewhere with one, it depends on the flare gun, types of flares, if it had ignited already, how far away you are when you're shot many variables, I digress;Presuming you live the initial impact, you're going to wish you shot yourself with a regular gun, because it's going to hurt. A lot.Flare guns can fire a between 1 inch canister, 10ga or a 12 gauge flare dependent upon the model. Some flare guns fire at 150ft/sec, some fire these at up to 4–500 feet per second. The flames are likely to be the least of your concerns, because the blunt-force trauma is going to fuck your shit up first. Most flares don't ignite until they are in the air for several seconds, so chances are you're not going to end up dealing with the burning part unless you're highly unlucky.Let's say you're especially unlucky!Flares ignite at 376(191 Celsius) degrees Fahrenheit can burn as hot as 2,900 degrees Fahrenheit.(or 1,600 Celsius, my inferior American units are my go-to). You can suffer 3rd degree burns from just a few seconds of being exposed to just 150 degrees Fahrenheit in direct contact.Flares are usually ignited using Strontium Nitrate, which is a chemical so dangerously flammable you need a unique federal license to transport it across the country. When I lived in Wisconsin, some people carried them as PDWs against bears. In short, you're likely going to end up with most likely some second/third degree burns, possible permanent nerve damage to whatever extremity you decided you especially didn’t like, definitely some broken bones, a sizable hole in you, and a lifetime of wondering “why the fuck did I think this was a good idea?”

Why is Alaska a part of the USA and not Canada?

That a look at a map of the Northwest sometimeYou’ll notice that Canada is all above the 45th parallel and American keeps to the south… That is with the exception of the northwest where it suddenly claims an entire peninsula and steals yes steals the northern half of British Columbia’s coastlineWhat the Jingoistic Americans won’t admit is that Alaska is basically a Colony in all but name. It was purchase as a colony from Russia because the Americans thought they would one day rule all of North America. But of course this didn't happen. It was actually the fanatically imperialist purchase of Alaska that one of driving points behind the Canadians colonies forming a confirmation. We literally had to team up out of fear we would end up like Alaska. This ended America’s idea that Alaska would be joined to Washington state by land, yet still they found use in their Colony. By the time the Cold war started Alaska’s location next to Siberia was seen as vital for monitoring the Soviets. So throughout History Alaska served a use for America even if it was an awkward and ugly excalve. But here’s the thing; The USSR fell 25 years ago this christmas, so we are more than overdue to asks ourselves: What right does have to control Alaska. None.I’m not saying Alaska should join us Canadians (They far right jingoistic ways are seen as backwards in most parts of our fair nation) But I will say this; The Stars and Stripes don’t belong on the arctic ocean anymore than the union jack belongs in Nigeria and I will live to see to the day when Alaska is out of American hands.
