Is 75 000 A Year Good

75k/year a good salary for a 23 year old?

Is 75k/year a good salary for a 23 year old? I live in a suburb of Boston and i pay 1100/month for a nice 700sq ft apartment w/ heat + hot water included. It's in a very nice (and wealthy) area also.

As far as benefits go I receive FULL medical and dental (i only pay copays) and i get 3 weeks paid vacation. Is this a good salary for 23? I have friends making 80+ and i know lucky ones that got wall street jobs that make 100+ easily (but they also work 80hrs a week and they'll lose their jobs if we enter a bear market)

What do you think?

What is a good salary for a 20 year old?

The highest starting pay without a college degree would probably be 25k ($13/hr). 45k (over $20/hr) is way to high for non-college degree.

With a college degree, starting salary would be on average 55k.

No joke.

If you need money for school, colleges will give need-based scholarships. You can also apply for federal assistance.

Is 96,000 a year good or bad? high or low?

96k a year is good, especially relative to the average household income (you can look up the statistics through google). However, you will only get there through several years of experience and landing jobs at certain companies. I think compared to engineers in general it's about average.

Comparison with professional athletes and presidents is meaningless because of the odds of reaching that level, and the natural ability, work ethic, and fitness level required in the case of athletes. And in the case of becoming the president, your odds are close to one in several millions. You'd need to go through prestigious high schools, develop excellent connections, likely have some family ties in important places, likely have a law degree, and have several years of experience working for interest groups, etc. So yeah, the comparison of typical jobs with a handful of elite jobs is meaningless

Is $75000 a good salary for a 23 year old?

Here you go - either lying or bragging again. The last time you asked this same question just a few days ago, you were given 22 answers. I would have thought that would have been more than sufficient.

Would u say 75k a year is a good salary?

That is great if your living by yourself :)

Is $62000-$75000 a good salary?

I'm going into college in September, am going into Corrections and am going to major in Sociology or Psychology. I am thinking about becoming a Case Manager (also known as a Correction Counselor). I want to help people who have been in trouble and want to see them start their lives over with a positive view on the world.

Salary of 75k a year enough for good quality life?

Yeah, I should have added way more detail. Okay, is it good enough to afford a decent single story house or apartment with like 1 restroom, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, and 2 sleeping rooms. It would be a house located somewhere in South Carolina. Is a starting salary of 75k a year good enough to pay for bills, mortgage, food, a car, insurance, and all the other stuff needed?

What's it like to make $75,000 a year?

It feels really good for sure. But it is also possible for the person who is making $50,000 a year to net at the end of the year more money to put in a bank than the person making $75,000 a year.Be careful here my friend. It is not how much money you make. It is how much money you save.Keep in mind also the guy making $75,000 a year may be in serious debt or barely breaking even. Meanwhile, guy making $50,000 a year can be incredibly happy. You have to take into consideration not one’s income, but ones expenses/lifestyle.Mark
