What is the value of an Abraham Lincoln gold 1 dollar coin? How rare are they?

Whenever your run across these “gold” coins with a President on the front and it has two dates. it’s a modern “Presidential” dollar. (HINT: The real date is on the edge of the coin.)Presidential $1 Coin ProgramThese coins are the same composition as the Sacajawea and Native American dollar coins. From the US Mint website:The coins’ physical makeup is a three-layer clad construction - pure copper sandwiched between and metallurgically bonded to outer layers of manganese brass. Four different designs were issued per year, until they got to Reagan. Since no living President can be on a circulating US coin, Carter was skipped. All the presidents after Reagan are still alive, so the series ended with him.NOTE:Since this question gets asked a lot, I am going to put the entire list in this post, and hope that someone searches Quora in the future before asking about it.Presidential $1 Coins2007George Washington (1789-1797)John Adams (1797-1801)Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809)James Madison (1809-1817)2008James Monroe (1817-1825)John Quincy Adams (1825-1829)Andrew Jackson (1829-1837)Martin Van Buren (1837-1841)2009William Henry Harrison (1841)John Tyler (1841-1845)James K. On which dollar bill?

In celebration of the United States' bicentennial, which dollar bill depicts a vignette of the signing of the Declaration of Independence? First to answer correctly, gets 10 points!

Is a 50 US dollar bill series 2009 still valid?

As long as the bill was made legal tender, it’s still valid. There are some merchants who will not take bills over $20, and $50 bills are rare enough that some people might not recognize them. If that’s a problem, you can take the bill to a local bank and exchange it for other bills. To my knowledge, no U.S. currency has ever lost its legal tender status. This includes the special “HAWAII” overlay bills printed for Hawaii during World War II, which were to lose their legal tender status if Hawaii was ever invaded. (See: U.S. stamps 'Hawaii' on dollar bills after Pearl Harbor attack)

How much is a 1934 twenty dollar bill worth today? What factors affect the value?

The quality of the bill is the predominant factor in its value. If it is MS (mint state) it is better, but even a circulated one with no cuts or tears also is more than face value. Also other minor factors for MS currency…like how the bill was cut. Perfectly cut and balanced edges garner a higher price. Slightly offset cuts (where one border is slightly wider than another) usually is of lesser value to collectors. Another factor is a bill that has been professionally graded by a reputable grading firm. This increases the value because a future buyer KNOWS with some certainty that he is getting the quality that is being promoted. There are other factors, but you get the idea. Do your research and you will be able to tell how much your 1934 $20 bill is worth (eBay is a good starting place, but a local coin/currency seller could get you started too). Oh, and you can use your public library or the net to get an idea too but don’t put too much into it because these are more like “retail” prices and may not reflect the real price that someone is willing to pay for the note….that is to say, no one buys retail; they wait for a sale and buy it for less.

Will 2 dollar bills be worth anything in the future? Could they be put out of circulation and become valuable? Etc.

Two dollar bills are already worth something — exactly 2 dollars.I’m guessing that what you’re really asking is whether 2 dollar bills will ever become expensive collectors items. To this I will answer that “ever” is a very long time, however given the large number of 2 dollar bills printed over the years, the short answer is — no.The long answer is that from the standpoint of a collector of modern currencies, coins and banknotes roughly fall into 2 categories: Common items that were readily available to anyone who wished to buy them at face value, and items that were rare and exclusive even at the time they were issued (e.g. printing errors, unusual serial numbers, specimen issues, some commemorative and private issues).A two dollar bill, with no unusual attributes, will fall firmly in the former category, and like other common items, they are generally valued only a little more than their face value at last printing, adjusted for inflation (and lost opportunity). And so even though their value will inevitably rise over time, it will always be less than that of a five dollar bill from the same year.

Liberalism? Conservative? What do these really mean?

Wow...good job! Pretty much sums it up and yeah...prepare to be attacked with namecalling. I'm sure they are on their way!
