Is A 3.5 Gpa In Middle School Good

Not really. You want to aim for a 3 to a 4. Your middle school gpa carries onto high school, and to get admitted into a good college, they ask about your middle and high school gpa

Is 3.6 a good gpa for middle school?

That's good for middle school but I recommend that you try for a higher GPA. When I was in 7th grade I always aimed at a 3.8 and above. So all A's with a couple B's. But for taking honors classes well done, very impressive for a 7th grader taking Algebra.

Is a 3.5 GPA in middle school good?

Middle school GPA isn't very hard to be honest. And I'm going to say a 3.5 is pretty shitty for middle school. Your classes aren't that hard to be honest. The only thing I think I learned in middle school was how to make a CO2 car with a block of wood and a CO2 cartridge. Really going to take that away and apply it to life. Honestly, I got a 3.89 my 8th grade without trying in the slightest. I got 4.0s both 6th and 7th grade because I just paid attention in class.
Having a decent GPA like that in middle School is good for learning techniques because it sounds like you'd have decent study habits. Just keep that in high school. Last year I was in 11th grade, and my GPA was a 3.53, the worst I've ever done, but that's because I look 5 AP courses out of a schedule of 7 classes. Work yourself harder in middle school so you have a good understanding and worth ethic for high school, university, and the work force.

Good luck kid.

Middle school GPA 3.5 good?

You could still get into Howard even though your GPA is on the low side. When colleges are looking at applicants they look at grades, gpa, and extracurricular activities. The ACT score is excellent and your extracurricular involvement will help distinguish you from other candidates. In respect to the gpa, colleges will be looking at how your gpa progressed every year and for you that will be a positive. The only question college admission officers might have about your application is whether being involved in so many extracurricular activities distracted you from your classwork. The best way to counteract their suspicions is to address your low gpa and your family troubles in your college admissions essay and emphasize how your grades progressed each year. Also, like someone said earlier just apply because you never know what will happen.

Is a 3.67 a good gpa for middle school?

You should ALWAYS do your best, in EVERY class. DON'T use the excuse, "it doesn't matter for college," that's just a "cop out." Yes, 3.67 IS a good GPA, but challenge yourself to put forth your BEST effort, EVERY day. Such work habits WILL pay off for you when you enter the workforce. Good luck to you!

Is 3.0 a good GPA for Middle School?

Not at all.

Middle school isn't challenging. You just need to turn in your work and you will pass. It's not even A LOT of work.
You're not doing that. You give excuses for the Cs, but really there is no excuse for getting a C in middle school. If you lost your workbook then you copy the pages from a friend or you buy another one. Don't just do nothing. Turn in your homework in math and you wouldn't have a problem.

Is a 3.8 GPA good For Middle School?

Sure.

If you're worrying about college, remember that a school looks at the grades of the last stage of school you went to.

For example, a college will look at your high school grades. A private high school will look at your middle school grades.

So if you're going into a public school, you're middle school GPA doesn't matter, given you don't have to repeat 8th grade. Your high school GPA is what matters, though, because it's what you put on applications and resumés.

Good for what, is the question.Just good in general? Maybe. Do you think you can do better, or are you doing your absolute best?Good for college? The middle school grade won’t matter, but the high school grade will. To that end, it depends on the college you want to attend. Want to go to an Ivy League school? Get MUCH better. Want to attend a local state college? That should work. But why are you asking? Are you working your hardest, and that’s the grade you’re getting? Then yes, it’s good, because you’re working your hardest. But see if you can find a way to be better: find teachers, tutors, or other students. Surround yourself by what you want to become.Or are you not working your hardest and just want to justify that what you’re doing is good enough? Then no, it’s not good. If you can be better, you should be better. When I was at that age, my GPA was about there, too, 3.0 (Unweighted). Looking back, I realize now that I should have worked harder. I could have done better. I wasted time and effort, and relied only on my natural capabilities to carry me through: decent memory, an affinity towards history, somewhat intelligent. Fine, right? My parents were not particularly strict about grades, and so neither was I. So 3.0 was good.In retrospect, I do wish they had been stricter. Because that would have made the difference between me going the path I did and going the path I truly wanted to go, the difference being that the former I believed I could accomplish, while the later I didn’t, for reasons that seemed good at the time, but which were bunk. The later was a more challenging path, but it would have ultimately been more rewarding in many respects. (Make no mistake, my path now is one I’ve enjoyed, and one which has brought me a comfortable living, but had I applied myself more I could have done more for the world and for others.)So then back to your question: why are you asking? Because that will give you the answer to your question. And remember, just be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today. Doing that you’ll get to where you want to go.
