Is A Cartoon About Dragons Stupid

Dragon Ball Z? A Kids show or an adults cartoon?

It's actually meant for young adults. Americans just think that animated programs are just for children. They are ignorant. I used to watch it when I was twelve or so. I still love it!

(By Americans I mean Westerners as a generalized group.)

Why is Goku more stupid in Dragon Ball Super?

Why?Most of us grew up watching Dragon Ball Z dubbed. Funimation made a lot of changes to his character, such as being a more archetypical super hero. Further, we were young kids, why would we think that this individual who is really heroic and powerful is actually really foolish? Here’s the truth:We never realized how foolish Goku was when we were younger. To prove my point, in the cell saga, in order to ensure that his son is able to break his limits, he gives Cell a sensu bean, a resource that he only has in limited quantities.Further, Goku gives Frieza some of his power so that Frieza can survive the impeding explosion on Namek so that he can fight Frieza at a later day. These aren’t actions that a smart individual take.If you do not believe me, rewatch DBZ and watch it subbed.

Why are children's cartoons necessarily so stupid?

I think that producers of childrens TV think that parents won't let their child watch the shows if they feel that it's not in some way "educational". This leads to shows that have some sort of silly, cliché, moral that's really just there so that parents can feel good about having let their child sit and watch TV. Good kids TV, though, isn't so obvious. The stories have a spark of magic that fires the kids imagination, and then doesn't tell them what they should think about it, leaving the kids with a sense of wonder. A moral wraps the story up too well, leaving the kid thinking that that's all there was to it.A good example of this difference is an old show, called the Clangers, which has been restarted, and has new episodes running on BBC now. The show is about these cute, hand knitted and stop motion animated aliens, living on a planet. They have a friend, called the Iron Chicken, who lives in a nest somewhere in nearby space, and another, the soup dragon, who lives in a cave deep in the Clangers planet. The show has quite a musical theme, with the Clangers talking in melodic whistles, and things like a tree which grows notes which the Clangers play, or a cloud which likes to join in in harmony. The old show had wonderful stories where the Clangers did things like try and fix a rocket to visit the Iron Chicken, or when the notes blew away from the music tree, get the cloud to help get them down. The new show has similar stories, but wraps them up in a trite moral, like "Little Clanger didn't give up, so he was able to save the day". Because kids think the moral has explained the entire story, their imagination doesn't need to do any work. It also subtly tells the kids that they aren't intelligent enough to work it out for themselves, and after a while they start to believe it.If you want your child to watch good TV, look to some old British classics, such as the original Clangers, Bagpuss, Mr Benn, or the first Postman Pats. Most of them were relatively short lived, but much loved.

Is it normal or stupid to watch cartoon at the age of 16?

It's totally normal, especially these days! For the purpose of this answer, I'm going to disregard anime. Adult anime has existed for decades, a lot of it is exclusively for adults due to violence, gore and adult themes. Akira, Gantz and Ghost in the Shell are not really recommended for anyone below 16!There are currently more popular adult cartoons than in the past. Rick & Morty is an absolute phenomenon. Bojack Horseman got an excellent reception as well, and whoever watched Archer will never stop quoting it (my girlfriend doesn't even watch it and she still uses “sploosh” all the time!)But besides that, there are numerous fantastic cartoons that are kid friendly but have great depth and a lot to enjoy for all ages. Three examples are the very funny and endearing Gravity Falls, which uses a lot of themes around growing up and siblinghood, Adventure Time with its very deep world building and emotional investment, and Steven Universe which promotes acceptance and LGBT themes. And I haven't even gone into the Avatar franchise and Voltron.Even foregoing these cartoons, all of which I watch with great joy at age 29, there is absolutely nothing wrong with watching cartoons aimed at any age. The only thing that matters is whether or not you enjoy it. Never let people shame you for your taste!

What is the name of the racing cartoon, from the 80's or early 90's?

I was trying to remember this the other day in class, the cartoon was in the 80's i think, maybe the early 90's, it wasn't Pole Position, it was a family of racers, and from what i can remember, one of them drove a red car, and they all had a big V on there helmets, it was kinda a stupid cartoon, but any info ya'll may have would be helpfull

Do you think anime`s are for stupid noobs!?

I am not a huge Anime fan, but I respect other peoples taste in entertainment.
There was a time, not long ago, when comic book fans were looked down on as nerds and dorks, and now, some of the best recent movies are comic book movies.
Something similar can be said about Dungeons and Dragons. When D&D first started, players were accused of being devil worshippers and worse. Now, Dungeons and Dragons has movies, video games, a huge selection of books and a really big fan base.
Like i said, I'm not a big Anime fan, but I do like a couple of them. Anime is really pretty diverse....it's not all about demon swordsman and giant robots.
I found one I really like called Deathnote.
I suggest, before making up your mind, you try and find a Anime that you might like. Just think of something you like in your entertainment, than go to the Anime catagory on Answers and ask what show is similar to what you like.
You might find something.
With all the cop shows and reality shows on T.V. nowadays, it's always nice to have an alternative.
good luck!

Dragon ball z questions?

1. Because TV is a lot more strict nowadays in terms of censorship. I was pretty pissed when I saw there was no blood, thats one of the things that made the original awesome. Idk why they do it honestly. I watched DBZ like it was my religon when I was a little kid and I turned out fine. From what Ive heard though there is blood in the Uncut version, but you wont see it on Nicktoons. The fights are shorter than the original anime series because its supposed to be more like the manga. The original series fights were extremely drawn out, for example in the Goku and Frieza fight, Frieza says Namek is going to blow up in 5 minutes, and it doesnt blow up until about 15 eps later. Maybe its cause I didnt read the manga but I liked this about the show though, because I was always anxious to see the next episode.

2. DBZ has 291, Kai has 98 but Kai doesnt cover the longest saga in the series the Buu saga.

3. The movies are pretty good Id recommend them. They really have nothing to do with the story though.

4. Nah, I already have them on DVD.

In Shrek, how did a donkey get that dragon pregnant?

I love this question. Everyone who saw that movie had to have asked themselves that.
