it's not a sports car. it has front wheel drive, and a weak engine. it has 152 hp and 146 lbf*ft of torque from a 2.0L engine. it has nothing that makes it considered a sports car. the only thing could be the name GTS. typically the letters GTS and similar combinations like GT, GTR, S, R, RS, and similar are associated with sports cars or sports versions of regular cars. take a jaguar, the XF is a nice luxury car. the XF R or XF RS are sports versions of it. honda civic? economy car. honda civic type r? sports car. the same happens with many other cars. on mitsubishi though it just specifies different trim levels though. nothing about the engine changes going from a base model DE to the top end trim GTS. it is still a 2.0L 152 hp engine. nothing crazy. only when you get into the ralliarts and evos do you get sports cars. heres something you can do though. there are tons of insurance companies that offer free quotes online. it doesn't take too long. you just put in your info and the info on the car you wish to quote and then you get a quote. test out which cars you like to see which are more expensive. don't rely on the knowledge (or lack thereof) of others.
