Is A Sharp Stinging Pain Something To Worry About

Sharp stinging pain under big toe?

See your health care provider as soon as possible (podiatrist). If your big toe points toward the other four toes on that foot, the end of the metatarsal behind the big toe may rub against the shoe. The skin thickens over the end of the metatarsal, and the metatarsal itself may develop a bony spur at that point. This is a bunion, and if it becomes inflamed and sore, it can make life miserable.
Bunion. Place a small sponge or pad between the big and second toe so that the big toe becomes aligned with the other four toes. Moleskin or padding around the bunion may help relieve pressure. Shoes wide enough in the ball of the foot, so that pressure isn't applied, will help. Acetaminophen or other pain medication may be used. If the bunion is particularly inflamed, a cortisone injection can provide temporary relief. If the big toe is so crooked that adjusting the shoes and using moleskin don't help, then surgery to realign the big toe may be needed.
I hope this helps you. And good luck.

Sharp stinging pain in the penis?

I woke up at about 6:00 AM today with a sharp stinging pain in my penis. It comes and goes about every 15 seconds. The pain is excruciating and i don't know what's causing it. It stopped for awhile and i went back to sleep but when i woke up and took a shower it came back. My whole dick hurts, but for only about 5 seconds then the pain is gone again for another 15 seconds then it comes back. It feels like someones is sticking a red hot needle into my dick and then pulling it out. Any ideas about what this could be? I have a very high pain tolerance (i had cancer when i was 11) and this almost seems more painful than the lung surgery i had. I'm contemplating going to the ER, because this is bringing me to my knees and it doesn't seem to be going away. Please help

What does a sharp stinging pain in the stomach mean?

It depends on what other symptoms you feel along with that but if that is the symptom alone then it could be caused by perforated stomach ulcer

Sharp stinging pain in my left side?

Where abouts on your left side do
you feel this pain? I am reticent to
speculate because some are serious.

I am not a Dr, and they would have to examine
you to diagnose you properly. If the problem
persists, see a Dr, remember to make note of
any triggers for this pain.

Are there other times it hurts, for instance
after certain foods, types of movements,
or maybe when you are thirsty?

***************

Only guessing, but it could be a result of posture,
with a minor thoracic disk problem,
which could cause a pain in the nerves
which can be localized, at least at first.

Exercises,with stretching MIGHT provide
some relief.

Because you stated these events occurred
while sitting, my first guess would be
posture, and favoring one side while
sitting can misaligned the spine. Thoracic
vertebra are located in the mid back,
and send nerves mostly around the thorax,
or torso.

You might try laying flat on your back, with
pillows under your knees, to relax the
back.

It might be a mineral deficiency, such
as potassium, or even calcium, magnesium or zinc.
Iron competes with those minerals,
and many women who take supplemental
iron may find themselves deficient in
other minerals.

Potassium is well known to reduce some
muscular pains. A banana is the best
source of usable potassium.

Should I be concerned if I have stinging/sharp/burning pains all over my body?

It can easily take 2 to 3 years to get a diagnosis of Fibromayalgia. May I suggest you assume this might be your diagnosis and research it. Here is my take on it:1- still too few physicians are familiar enough with this weird disease to pick up on it. 2- stop gluten and sugar, if you feel much better very rapidly... Bingo!3- many with this diagnosis have a close family member with schizophrenia. 4- it may disappear for months or years but no cure yet. However I am certain it's on the way with molecular medicine so keep on looking for the answer and protect your nervous system; it has nothing to do with rheumatology. 5- stay away from Lyrica and other zombie making poisons. Try a good, listening, experienced homeopath instead. 4- plan your financial future wisely. It is progressive.

Sharp stinging pain in stomach/abdomen area?

So for a couple months now I've been having these really sharp pains towards the left of my belly-button.

A few months ago, it was SOO awful, I couldn't sleep all night. I couldn't even move when I was laying down. If I tried to readjust my body, it would sting so bad and it feels like I'm getting shot.

Lately these pains have been coming back. Not as bad as that one night, but enough for me to crouch over and catch my breath.

It gets worse when I drink soda. What could this be?

I'm 15 years old.
This has been happening for months now.
From 1-10, the pain has definitely shot up past 10.
Right now, it's maybe at a 4 or 5.

33 weeks pregnant && sharp stinging pains in vagina ?

Better get used to it because it's about to get a lot worse. It's funny because I'm 36 weeks and just had a really bad episode of this a couple of minutes ago when I stood up. It's totally normal and nothing to worry about. It's from your cervix beginning to thin out (efface) and dilate. It's a good thing, as your body is preparing for labor. It's an awful feeling but when you think about it differently, in a good way, it won't be so bad. If your baby keeps pushing on your cervix then the pain/sensation may last longer. You can try and get her to move by changing positions frequently. What always gets my girl moving is sitting in a bath, she seems to turn a lot for some reason as soon as I get in, plus it will relax you. Good luck.

There’s was a sharp pain in my tooth that felt like a sting. What could it mean?

You have not mentioned anything about your age and the status of teeth.Normally the sharp pain is due to cracked tooth syndrome, wherein the tooth might get fractured like hair line fracture though it appears intact, pin point exposure of pulp, attrition, abrasion, erosion of enamel and dentin, nerve exposure due to fracture of tooth and bone, as seen in accidents and traumatic extractions, neuralgic pain like trigeminal neuralgia. You can visit a dentist for a thorough check -up and examination.
