Is A Summer Job For Dog Walking Safe For A 16 Year Od Girl

Dog walking for a teenagers job?

hey guys This is what i have put on my leaflet

I am a 15 year old young woman who is passionate and a caring animal lover who will treat your pet as my own.
I want to be able to:
-Gain job experience
-Have more responsibilities

I will walk any dogs in the chessington area or a little bit further out.
But I can not walk dogs which are aggressive towards humans or will try and attack other dogs.

Before I start walking your dog/dogs I would like to
ask a few questions and I would like to hear any queries you may have. I would like to have a bonding session first of all to make sure your dog/dogs will bond with me.

If you would like me to interact with your dog even more like: feeding, dog sitting and grooming etc. Please ask and I will see what I can do. I can walk up to 1 dog at the time.

References are also available.

First 2 walks are free after that it is £3.00 per half an hour
£5.50 per hour

Dog walking Available:
Monday to Friday 4:00pm till 6:30pm

How does a 12- or 13-year-old get a job? What kind of jobs can they get?

This is going to be fun to follow! The summer I turned 12, I got a job as shine boy at a shoe repair shop – excuse me, “shoe maker’s.” I had my own key to the shop and was responsible for opening the shop in the morning, shines, some dye jobs, cleaning, and customer service when the owner was not there. My son started carrying three routes of a weekly free newspaper when he was 9. Next child down was only 7 (I didn’t believe it either) when she got her first out-side-the home babysitting job. The parents that hired her made as the only condition that I or my wife be on call in case of emergencies. My youngest daughter was hired as an “assistant manager of a horse farm when she was 12. She was left in full charge of 23~24 horses whenever the owner was out of town. What is the best job? The one the 12 year old wants to do, can, do and can get hired to do.There are parents who see their child’s working as personal development and those who see it as showing their inability to provide. Guess where I stand on that question.

16 year old odd jobs?

Hello Point Blank:

Unfortunately, there aren't too many employers, other than fast food places, that will hire minors (people under 18) for safety reasons.
If you have the time or inclination, you can charge an hourly fee to do these things:

- Walk the neighbor's dog on a regular basis;
- Provide vacation care for neighbors who need to leave their pets at home, but want someone to walk them and feed them daily.
- Contact elderly neighbors and find out if they need someone to run errands: post office, grocery, pharmacy; charging a small fee for each trip.
- If you like kids, offer to babysit for an hourly rate;
- Help elderly neighbors with the programming of their DVR's or setting up their internet stuff.
- Read to an elderly neighbor who can't because of surgery or sickness.
- Wash the neighbor's car(s) on weekly basis.
- Water people's plants or set up the weekly times on their sprinklers while they're on vacation.

Lastly, you might want to look at www.seattle.gov for opportunities with Seattle youth organizations.

Good luck and have a great summer.

Jobs for 14 year olds?

im 14 and im looking for a job for after school and the weekends. what are some places that hire 14 year olds. if it helps i live in massachusetts. please help me =] thanks!

Can a 14 year old start a job? If yes, then what kind of a job?

Of course, a 14 year old can start a job. But, wait! The jobs you can apply or start are the simple ones and not the complicated ones. Whether it’s because you’re saving for your family, your future, anything, I’m sure this will be effective for you.You can babysit. This is really nice for teens who enjoy the company of babies and are willing to learn the struggle before the future. Anyway, start safe with this. Only babysit for your mom or dad’s friend or your sister’s friend’s little sibling. ONLY BABYSIT FOR THE ONES YOU KNOW OR YOUR PARENTS KNOW. Also, tell your parents you’d love to do this.Lemonade or Snack Shack. This is fun—especially with friends, and on the summer. You can ask/borrow money from your parents to buy snacks (but don’t you dare eat it!) and sell it or pick lemonades and make lemonade juice (but make sure that it tastes good).Work on a commercial store. You might want to ask the drugstores around your town if they need help. Though, be very careful with this.Clean. Yep, you got that right. You can go to your neighbor and tell them that you’d clean/mow their lawn/yard. But don’t ask for money like a very annoying dog. Don’t even mention it. Just go beside Mr. Neigh and say, “Sir, want me to help?” Don’t you dare beg for money because that will seem inappropriate. They’ll give you, just do your best. So, that’s all I can think so far. When you turn 16 and above, then that’s when you’ll be applying for cafe’s, cash register, and whatever.I hope you find yourself a nice job, my dear padawan .

What would be good first job for me?

I'm a 17 year old girl and I want to get a summer job so I won't be at home all the time. I've always been shy, so that's why I'm having a hard time getting a job that fits me well. What jobs would be good for me?

Can a 16 year old work at a vet clinic? To do odd jobs, etc.?

Like cleaning cages, feeding the animals, walking the dogs.. or even answer the phone, or write down appointment dates. I will be turning 16 this month, and I love animals. Do you think I could work there when I turn 16? There is a local vet's office I can contact and ask,
thanks!!
