Is Afroman Underrated As An Artist

Anybody Else Think Afroman is Underrated?

i'm gonna agree with you on that, a question was asked maybe 2 weeks ago about what everyone's favorite afroman song was and that was pretty much all anyone had heard of. and his discography is pretty damn long.

i think he's slightly underrated, but not a lot.. because well he's really not that great. but i'm a fan of his regardless. he can make some pretty good songs when he really wants to.

Who is the most underrated painter of all time?

I am going to put in my top three.. All different eras and genres.. Starting with #3.Linda Shearer paints in a style that is as old as time itself and her paintings are absolutely stunning. One of two women in my list which in itself leads to an underrated choice in my opinion.Alfred Sisley, I consider the best impressionist artist above the names of Monet, Degas, Renoir, Pissaro, etc. He has painted my favorite painting of all time.. Snow at Louveciennes, 1878 (not shown below)Artemisia Gentileshi, well what can I say. Baroque female painter, her paintings are better than Caravaggio in my opinion. She was raped at age 17, which, during that time, would have destroyed her and her families reputation and financial well being. She took that tragedy, subvert it into her painting and became one of the best Baroque period artist. Compare her to Rembrandt, yes I said it .. the master.. Rembrandt… compare.. passion.. that is what sets her aside, underrated and just as good, if not better.. her passion..3. Linda Shearer - Contemporary Chinese Brush Painter2. Alfred Sisley - Impressionist Landscape Painter late 1800sArtemisia Gentileshi - Italian Baroque Painter mid 1600s

Do you know any underrated artists with good music?

One day, I went on spotfiy, looked up “Deat Metal,” and chose a playlist. Most of the songs were from well known Death Metal bands, from that of Cannibal Corpse to Cattle Decapitation. However, there were two songs, each from seperate bands, and after being fully submerged in their music, I found them to be extremely phenomenal. There was just something that each band had, be that sound or lyric meaning. And even after asking multiple Death Metal fans if they've heard them, I struggle to get a yes.AcraniaAfter hearing this band, not a moment passed by without me getting goosebumps. These guys have a stupidly fast tempo on all of their songs. Each memeber does an amazing job in fulfilling their duty, but the singer and the drummer easily take the cake. There's easily more than 4 styles of vocals throughout the whole album, all of them disturbingly heavy in their own way. And the drummer, god he's so good. With their political lyrics and eye-opening messages, they sure put in a lot of work and are surely to be a great but underrated band.FallujahThis band can be heavy at times, but artistically beautiful at others. With a more cosmic sound that relaxes the listener, these guys can sure pump you up or calm you down. Similar to Acrania, the drummer and singer of this band are amazing. However, the guitarists of Fallujah deliver a different experience that is pleasent to hear. While the vocals do remain the same throughout some albums, “Dreamless” also features sinister whispering and beautiful feminine vocals. Both bands (in MY opinion) are not only great, but grossly underrated. Both fans do have their fans, with Fallujah being more well-known than Acrania, but overall, they are not praised as much as other household names from the genre. If you like heavier, more disturbing metal, with grim voices and a lot of hidden messages, listen to Acrania. They are fast paced and filled with tons of words. If you prefer a focus on the art of sound, with a heavy but relaxed tones, listen to Fallujah. They take a more instrumental approach. If you don't like Death Metal, Deathcore, or metal at all, this is not the type of music you'll want to hear. But if you're a fan of both, you'll definitely enjoy these underrated bands. Rock on! PS: I wrote this on my phone, so I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammatical mistakes. I would greatly appreciate if one notifies me if they spot out a problem with the answer. Thank you.

becoz they like that way

Who are the top hip hop artists of all time?

Sorry, I just can't get down with people casting Dr. Dre as a candidate. How exactly can he be a Top 5 Hip-Hop Artist if he doesn't even write his own lyrics? He has a ghostwriter for every song; as far as I'm concerned, Dre should always be regarded as a Top 5 Producer and nowhere near a Hip-Hop Artist list. I'm also confused why Snoop Dogg is on some lists. While it's a matter of preference, I think it's a Hip-Hop convention to acknowledge that Snoop only had one "classic" album: Doggystyle. In contention:RakimKRS-OneBig Daddy KaneKool G RapOutKast (specifically Andre 3000 on ATLiens)2PacNotorious B.I.G.Big PunBig LNasJay-ZA Tribe Called QuestThe RootsIce CubeCommonEminemPublic EnemyRun DMCWu-Tang Clan (specifically GZA)Since we're talking about artists and not strictly lyricists, you'd probably eliminate a coupe of rappers from that list. That said, while those are the conventional choices, I lean towards the new generation of rappers as being the more versatile artists. Artists like Kanye West will eventually pop out as Top 5 material based on his impact on production alone.Personal Top 5:NasJay-ZCommon2PacAndre 3000Potential candidates in 5 years time:Kanye West (if he's not already in, that is)Lupe FiascoDrake (I'm serious - listen to Comeback Season)J. ColeKendrick Lamar

Which musicians will be remembered best in 30 years?

Q: Which musicians will be remembered best in 30 years?perhaps musicians who in their time were popular, but also have striking qualities that might speak to people discovering the music for the first time.Perhaps listeners a couple of generations from now will be excited bythe experimentation of Radiohead and Björk,the beauty of Adele’s voice, the masterly quality of J Dilla’s tracks, the perfect silliness of Afroman’s “because I got high”the wild creativity of Earl Sweatshirt and Flying LotusThere are also musicians who have long been popular and influential…the Beatles,James Brown,Metallica,Ella Fitzgerald,Charlie Parker,Led Zeppelin, the Sex Pistols,Astor Piazzolla,a good number of classical composers…These people or groups seem likely to keep finding new fans and influencing other musicians. There are also musicians whose work has been integral to entertainment forms or dance styles - composers…of opera,of film music,of ballet,of Tango,of Reggae,of Broadway musicalsare likely to stay on the scene.I find it rather sad that much of the “high concept” or “intellectual” music fades into obscurity. Music where perhaps a lot of thought went into harmony and/or form, for example music byBartok,Strawinski,Berg,Webern,Schnittke,Dallapicolla,Lutosławski…It’s sad in the same way that the sales of murder mysteries are so much higher than the sales of poetry and philosophy.During the 1970s, America seemed to be having a love affair with highly-produced, multi-track rock and pop. But the entire world seems to have moved away from that direction, from artists likeThe EaglesSteely DanFleetwood MacElectric Light OrchestraBostonPaul McCartneyBarry ManilowThese are people who were probably expected to find new fans, and aren’t - at least during our decade.
