Is An Overdraft Repaid When More Money Is Put On A Debit Card

How did i overdraft my prepaid card?

some how i overdrafted my prepaid debit card on two different occasions... one time my balance said - $4.71 and when i put money back on the card it subtracted it from my account lol. My prepaid card has a bank account and routing number to it and i used it to verify my PayPal account so i'm thinking that might have something to do with it but the company (Mango Money) i use says that i would be declined if i didn't have the money in the account when i read there webpage. I love the card and the company, they have never charged me for anything but the 5 dollar monthly payment if i didn't put 500 bucks on it or more and that's great but i just don't see how it does that. I mostly use it on the internet and some things take a few days to go through but 99% of the stuff i buy anywhere goes through instantly so iv'e only had a few internet things that haven't. Anyway i'm just looking for anyone that might have experienced the same thing maybe or knows anything about why it might happen. =D

Alright which prepaid cards can you overdraft on?

no prepaid mastercard visa and amex cards will not let you go over whatever money is on there is on there and once its gone they will decline the card

just contact the place that you owe the money on the car too and ask them you will have the money
in one week from today and then if you don't pay they take it away they will want to work with you

and or if you have overdraft protection or a credit card with your bank you could use those funds to pay it but they might charge you $35.00 per day or they might just charge 21%+ in interest and fees depending on the banks overdraft rules

Can my prepaid card go into overdraft?

I have a netspend prepaid card and I can use it anywhere so don't tell me I can't use it on certain things. but say I rent something offline that cost 7 bucks. and there's only 2 bucks on the card. will they take money off my card the next time I put some on? or before the purchase is processed does there have to be the exact amount to cover the cost..and say I do have 7 bucks on the card and I never returned what I rented..and the purchase cost is way more than 7 bucks..then will they put my card in overdraft?

Can you go to jail for not paying overdraft and money owed?

It will take a long time for it to get to that point, as whomever you are banking with will have to go through a collections process. I'm sure you know this, but I will say it anyway. If there is any way to avoid this, do so. Whatever it takes. Don't ruin your credit, because you will just spiral downwards further and further, and it will seem like the world is against you. Best of luck to you.

Does a netspend card charge overdraft fees?

I'm not sure if the Netspend cards charge you an overdraft fee or not, however, most prepaid debit card companies will charge you a fee for everything. The best alternative I've been able to find for rebuilding credit is Probity Financial Services. They have a checking account that doesn't charge any overdraft fees and it's designed as a second chance checking account. Their website is here http://probityfinancialservices.com/second-chance-checking/

How can you overdraft a Chase debit card?

Well the first way that comes to mind is to use the ATM's at the casino and select the no pin option which charges a higher fee but allows you to withdraw well over your balance. The ATM prints you out a receipt that you take to the cashier with your debit card and ID card. They then run the card and as long as you have a balance in good standing you can overdraft your card up to five hundred dollars to one thousand dollars. Once you get it though you must use it wisely since you will not be able to withdraw anymore funds until you have paid the over draft amount plus any fees involved. So I would suggest that you stick to the Black Jack Tables or the Roulette Tables and with the right system and a little luck you will be able to double your money allowing you to repay your overdraft and the fees and end up with a nice profit from your gamble. However you will need to brush up on your black jack system and learn a simple count method that could turn the odds in your favor. Also study a roulette system that you're comfortable with. Thanks are many online with specific instructions on how to put it in play. So now you know how to overdraft your Chase debit card and how to actually profit from it. How long before do I have to pay an overdraft fee for Wellsfargo?

I have written my response as a guide for anyone with any type of account at any bank, not just an account at Wells Fargo Bank.If you have a negative balance in bank account, you should correct the problem as soon as is possible. However there is no fixed time frame where you must correct an overdrawn account, if you cannot correct it within a week or so,then call the bank and tell them you are aware of the overdraft and when you will correct the problem. But, if you never deposit additional funds into your account to correct overdraft, which you could do, then there can be negative consequences to this course of action. At some point, the bank will close your account. At some later point the bank may try to collect the outstanding balance, should the balance be large enough for them seek this type of action. They could employee a debt collection service, for example. They may also refer the matter to police as a criminal matter. The timing and course of action taken by the bank will depend on the amount involved, the type of debit that resulted in the negative balsnce, and your past history with bank. Finally, the bank has the option of reporting your debt to the credit bureaus.

HiLoan :Loan refer to the fix amount of money borrow from a bank for fixed period of time with regular repayments.Overdraft Loan :An overdraft facility is the credit given to person or company on current account. It’s like a credit card, you can borrow as much as you need upto your credit limit.Difference between Loan & OverdraftOverdraft- In overdraft the interest rate is charged only on the overdraft amount borrowed not on the limit of the overdraft facility and in Loan, the interest is charged on the entire amount borrowed. The interest charged on Overdraft is higher than loans. An overdraft loan is for the short time and you cannot borrow large amount of money due to credit limits. A loan can be for a long time period like 5–30 years say and you can take large amount of funds. For taking overdraft the person should have a current account with the respective bank but in other hand there is no such pre-conditioned while taking loan.Interest in overdraft is calculating on daily basis but in loan, it is computed on a monthly basis.Payment option in overdraft facility will be made in a lump sum amount and can be closed anytime. while a loan is paid in Equated Monthly Instalments (EMI) and have to be paid within the fixed time period.Overdraft is good for short term expenses and loan is good for long period of time.I hope this will help you.Thank You
