Is Anybody Ready To Watch Ole Miss Vs Texas A

Ole Miss vs. Texas predictions?

The sec is a joke??? You must be a fan of the little 12 conference. Every other conference is a joke. They might get lucky every now and then but 9 times out of 10 the sec will win. And as for Alabama, lsu, and Georgia that should be the top three teams in the nation. And ole miss killed utep unlike a number 5 Oklahoma couldn't even get close to doing. Texas better have their A game or they will have a long ride back from the Grove. Hotty Toddy!!!

Texas Tech vs Ole Miss?

Texas Tech in a shootout 40 8-35 Graham Harrel is in simple terms too good for him just to think of it relatively is a pushover. the only danger ole omit has is their protecting place. in the event that they are in a position to get to Harrell, then they have of project.

Anyone actually surprised that Ole Miss beat Texas Tech?

91.4% of America was surprisee that Ole Miss won. I said they would win the whole time. Just look at my answer about the big 12 a couple of days ago. Everybody else are riders

Texas should be in National Championship?

As a Florida fan, I don't particularly care which team would go...

That said, I would say that in a situation like this, having the BCS rankings (notoriously screwy) decide the division champion is ridiculous. If, in the three way tie, the highest teams in the rankings are that close in ranking, I think head-to-head should certainly be the biggest factor. Also, there are very few that would argue that TTU was as good as the other two teams, narrowing the possibilities of teams moving on. And between those two, Texas proved to be better when they played.

Also, remember that TTU beat Texas in Lubbock (TTU)... on a miracle last second play. OU beat TTU at Norman, one of the biggest home-field advantages in college football. The only neutral site game (no home-field advantage), was won convincingly by Texas.

Another system I have heard talked about was to compare the division games and other common opponents and that record or the biggest point margin would determine the winner of the division. I don't necessarily like this system, either, but it does seem better than the BCS rankings.

I do think Texas got the shaft this year, but in a division that close, you will always have controversy.

As I read your question, I thought back on my four years at Ole Miss. I think the best way to answer your question is to first acknowledge that the University has a past. Then, I feel that it's necessary to give context to it by comparing then and now. That's the exact approach the school has taken during my time as an undergraduate. The past isn't lied about, it's learned from. I'm proud of my school for that. Then, in the past, there were horrible issues with race at UM. Now, it is the second most diverse university in the SEC. Like any college, though, there is always the threat of racially-charged incidents. Ole Miss isn't immune to that. If anything, it's even more highly scrutinized due to its past. The school understands that. We, the students, know that there is a spotlight on all of our actions. Out of love for our Ole Miss, we do what is necessary to keep each other accountable. The growth of the “Ole Miss family” is what I am most proud of after four years of time at the University of Mississippi. So, yes. You should attend the University of Mississippi. Environments are a product of those that interact with it. Ole Miss now chooses to be proactive, interactive, and simply active with engaging its environment in a way that does its Creed justice.Hotty Toddy!

It’s a great university and in one of the coolest college towns in the world, Oxford MS.the law school is outstanding and the Accounting school is one of the top 10 in USA.Ole Miss, in addition to a fine SEC football tradition, has excellent basketball and baseball programs as well as a strong Greek system all of which which insures non-stop fun things to do. Memphis International airport is only an hour away.Ole Miss is reknowned for Archie and Eli Manning, Nobel prize winning author William Faulkner, Willie Morris, numerous pro athletes, Fred Smith (FedEx), The Grove, many notableblawyersand businessmen….and I see Morgan Freeman sitting courtside at most basketball games in our new $100MM “Pavillion”.For years, Ole Miss has given academic scholarships to the best and brightest out of state students which has made the academic excellence soar and made the students body roughly half out of state whiz kids.Great academics, safe small town, major SEC programs, friendly people and rich history….IMHO, the best university experience in the world.

What would be the best bcs championship match-up? for the average fans just watching the game?

people over seem the function of solid training. The 2002 championship group, the Buckeyes, had no offense aside from Maurice Clarett and an ok QB, Craig Krenzel. the reason they gained is by using surprising strategies-set, the fundamentals! They play completely for container place and time administration, not often ever making offensive errors, or taking gutsy performs. the only factor that i assumed replaced right into a undesirable strategies-set replaced into no longer letting Troy Smith play the full first OSU/Texas game. directly to the those that think of OSU would be susceptible next twelve months, I stay in Columbus and the word is out that there'll be yet another QB stepping up with a greater desirable, greater precise arm and quicker speed then Troy had as a severe college senior. additionally, Ginn and Gonzales will greater suitable than probably stay besides as Antonio Pittmans replace Chris Wells who broke a 50+ backyard TD in his first opposition game against Michigan this twelve months. So take surprising training, a QB with 2 losses and 25 wins as a starter, 3 VERY reliable receivers, 3 VERY reliable RBs, 2 solid LBs, large line adult men, offensively and defensively, and you have the 2006 Champions. Buckeyes 34 Gators 27

Why aren't so called good teams from the SEC and Big 12 scheduling Boise State?

I love it when people ask this question so the record can be set straight.

2005: Georgia beat Boise 48-13
2000: Arkansas beat Boise 38-31
2002: Arkansas beat Boise 41-14
2011: Boise at Ole Miss

That's just the SEC.

Since my own team is hosting Boise next year, assuming the game doesn't get moved to Atlanta which is apparently a real possibility, let me tell you why most teams avoid them. They want $1 million to play against you. They want you to schedule them on their terms and basically to kiss their butts.

Here's some more information about Boise avoiding Alabama as well.

The truth is, they've got you fooled. They're not as ready to play anyone at the drop of a hat as they act. I seriously doubt Boise would even consider moving into a BCS conference given the chance. Why would they? They'd never go undefeated again. They'd be competitive, yes, but certainly not on the level they're at now.

Tracy is obviously wrong that SEC teams, at least, won't play Boise, but the last part of the answer about them (and Big 12 teams for that matter) having more to lose is right. Let's be honest, despite the fact pretty much everyone will say Boise is a better team right now (which is true) if Ole Miss does win next year, all you will hear is how Ole Miss beat a WAC team. If Boise wins, it will be a huge win over an SEC team for them. The only SEC team that might get away with a loss to Boise is Vanderbilt.
