Anyone wanna recommend me some good rappers like Hopsin, Immortal Technique, Nas, Cryptic Wisdom?
I'm looking for some people with deep lyrics, kickass beats, and punch lines that blow minds. Especially rappers like Hopsin. If you know any. DO NOT RECOMMEND: Kreayshawn, Lil B, Tha Joker, Waka Flocka, Lil Wayne, etc. No Swag Rappers.
What punk bands would you recommend me? I want something hard and fast like The Exploited, but Oi! bands are welcome too, and really anything that you like.
Alright. Everyone knows the 80s punk groups. Black Flag, DK, 7 seconds, blah blah blah. All great and I’m gonna skip them and head into more modern punk.The Casualties - as hardcore as punk can be without being metal.Against All Authority - hardcore ska punk with great lyrics and diy ethicsStar Fucking Hipsters/Choking Victim/Leftöver Crack - STZA Crack (Scott Sturgeon) is one of my favorite musicians and is more punk than anyone I’ve ever known (he still lives in a squat in NY, no joke).Kid Dynamite - they only made a couple of albums but have a great kick.Dos Minutos- Mexican hardcore With a good range of style.Svetlanas- Russian hardcore in English with a heavy accent. I like them when I feel like FTW.The Dwarves- a punk rock staple with decades of good, bad, and ugly music.PEARS- thrash punk? Hardcore? Metal punk? Punk metal? Who knows? Who cares? The Tile of Saint Stewart is my theme song (being a Stewart after all).^^^ those are the hardcore that pop into my mind, below are a few others that I love and most westerners have never heard of.Out of Control Army- Mexican ska punk for the 2 tone lovers.Distemper- Russian hardcore ska with a vocalist that sounds like gravel looks. So good you don’t even need to know Russian to enjoy it.Farben Lehre- Polish punk that spans decades and with noise that fluctuates between old school punk, ska, pop, rock, sort of all over.Honorable mentions- Streetlight Manifesto (ska), the Vandals (quirky), Reagan Youth (old school), Bad Brains (the ORIGINAL hardcore punk crew), F-Minus, Millions of Dead Cops or MDC, Lagwagon, Propaghandi, Operation Ivy… the list goes on and on.That should be enough to get you through the week. :P
Anyone want to recommend a good acoustic tab to learn?
You didn't say how long you've been playing.....I like this one even for beginners...it's called, "The Very Best Of Fingerstyle Guitar", by Hal Leonard....you can find this at Sam Ash and at Leonard's site....two songs in this book that my first year students, and others like are, Yesterday by the Beatles, and Tears in Heaven, by Clapton.....the book has chords, finger style notes, and tab...and is not difficult to play but sounds great....if you want to hear this played the way that it's written in this book ....go on youtube and type in this, Peo Kindgren, Yesterday, and then Tears.....This guy is a great guitarist !!!!!!! Anyone recommend me good gcse resources please??
I have to prepare for gcse, and I would like to know if anyone could recommend me any good websites, gcse syllabus and information websites, any good books, or websites I can download past papers for free! That would be perfectly appreciated. I would prefer to study more on the science, bio, chem and phys. I'm going into year 10 and I really want to try.No offence intended, but whoever will insult me about the fact that I'm trying to study, can p*** off....okay. I don't think I am clever enough. I don't think I am intelligent, which is why, I have to put lots of effort into this...thank you very much indeed for you help!!!
