Is Beiber The Reason Canadians Are Always Apologizing

Are Canadians proud or embarrassed about Justin Bieber?

We're not embarrassed nor proud. He is his own person and where he was born has nothing to do with his character.Believe it or not we have assholes here in Canada a lot worse than Justin Bieber. In all honesty one less asshole isn't going to make much of a difference. But I am glad he isn't our problem anymore. One less lonely girl for the, United States, I guess?

Do Canadians actually apologize a lot?

If you step on my toe, I say "sorry". You've just stepped on my toe and I am sorry it happened! But really what the sorry means is "I'm not upset". Since you stepped on my toe, you say sorry as well. At that point, we've established that no harm was meant, and no offence was taken, and we communicated that whilst sharing a word. It is egalitarian as fuck! Now if you don't say sorry, I just might invite you to play hockey, and we'll find out how well you fight on ice skates with your hockey jersey wrapped around your head. Just kidding! Jerk.:P

Why do Canadians say sorry so much?

Manners and apologizing are a cultural way of displaying your position or  status (etiquette is associated with middle and upper class... don't confuse this with wealth). For the most part, Canadians are these classes especially the ones met while travelling. A lot of people may not even be aware that this is a reason for doing this because it's been engrained since childhood. I wouldn't doubt there's a link with our history with England and being a Commonwealth country. And another way for us to distinguish ourselves from the USA (a bit of a stereotype). Also, we are often apologizing for the person we are apologizing to :)

Is there any valid reason to hate Justin Bieber?

Well, the other day I was listening to one of JB’s songs and a friend of mine, who happened to be passing by exclaimed, ”Hey man, do you listen to this freak?“.Me: And, what makes you say so?Him : I heard that he is a ‘Gay’…I was like, really?? Do you go on believing in every jacked up news that hits, nowadays?Actually, this is the problem with today’s youngsters who tend to add fuel to every spicy news that they come upon everyday, without even speculating a bit about it.So, NO, there is no reason to hate him because, after all the, disgusting conjectures rumored after him, he is the possessor of immense talent and all the beliebers are believers of his talent, his beautiful voice and ‘swaggy’ songs. It is true that sometimes he ended up doing some really stupid deeds, but try to understand that he is also a human and humans are driven to make mistakes in life especially when cameras are following you most of the time! And, he is one of those singers who not just sound good in studios but, perfectly good even in Live performances (without any editing on your voice). Is Justin Bieber a disgrace to Canada?

haha. This is a hilarious question. I was never interested in Bieber to tell you if he is or not. But if you think he's that bad, I dont think he would be worth being ashamed to be Canadian ;) I'l always be proud to be Canadian

Has Justin Trudeau now become the most hated man in Canada?

First off, anyone who got into office based on the laurels of his father certainly isn’t equipped to do anything more than a questionable job. I’ve always been a Canadian & I cannot remember ever seeing any other “wannabe” politician give away the store as much as this fraud. Throw in an ego stroking move like letting in immigrants whose lifestyles & religious ideologies are in direct contrast with the people who have always lived here & the next thing we have to tolerate is some animal walking around Toronto shooting innocent bystanders. I will never understand how a 12 year old girl deserved to be one of the victims. Where was “Truedope” through all this & what were his comments? Nothing of course, because he was on vacation AGAIN! But hey….let’s allow another 50 or 100,000 improperly screened candidates into this country so the Canadian dime can pay a whole year’s living for each of them. If they admit they’ve thrown a grenade at a member of our armed forces, they’re eligible for a 10 million dollar bonus. In the meantime, we’ll put you up in hotels where these families have destroyed some of them, they can harass some of the “actually paying” customers & then the government makes the owners of these establishments wait to be paid for even the rental fees, let alone for the damages. In short, I can see a rebellion coming up here! People are totally fed up! Between putting up with the antics of Kathleen Wynne & now this never ending parade of crap, the threshold point is getting closer with every day. Historically, Pierre Trudeau was the only Canadian prime minister who had to enact the “War Measures Act” because of the FLQ crisis in Quebec. Justin may very well have to follow in his father’s footsteps, but this time it will be to save his own dead butt from being found in the trunk of a car. This idiot needs to be muzzled & impeached immediately! No Canadian that I can remember has ever embarrassed the whole of this country more than him. Soldiers who have ever paid with their lives to defend & maintain this country would roll over in their graves if they saw what their sacrifices have led to in this present system. If they were given one day to walk around Canada now, the obvious question then becomes who would they decide to shoot at? The disgust they would probably encounter could possibly have them thinking our politicians are now Canada’s real enemies.

In which country are people the most likely inclined to apologize?

The British say sorry all the time but don’t mean it.The Canadians say sorry all the time and may even mean it more than half the time. The Americans never say sorry. The Chinese do not understand the word. Same for most of SE Asia. The Australians say it a bit quizzically …like … “I am sorry?” … they aren’t usually sure what ticked you off because a large variety of behavior is perfectly acceptable there. The Indians understand the word very well but don’t say it so often … they might smile apologetically but that just makes the other person think they are smiling instead of being sorry. Most of Western Europe says it but not as an apology … more like “Zorry … but zis is not how it’z done” - especially the Germans. The French probably believe that everything is in a sorry state so what’s the point of saying sorry? The Greeks want EU to say it for ruining their economy. The Italians say it only when caught doing some mischief, after their defenses explaining the mischief have been over-ruled. Like a kid rolling his/her eyes and saying sorry. The Japanese say it based on hierarchy or when they screw up really badly despite their machine like efficiency. The Russians say it only under Vodka inspired grief. Mostly to themselves. The Middle East says it when they don’t know what power over them you may wield (if any). If you don’t wield any, they won’t. If you do, they are more inclined to. Status and Stature matters.I’ve left out Africa because of limited experience there. Sorry!

What does it mean when a guy hates you for no reason?

basically about 6 weeks ago i started back at high school for my 3rd year, and ever since then i grew really close to a boy to the point that I had a crush on him. At the weekend me,my friends and him and his friends went out, my friends later told me that night that the boy looked at me about 60 times through out the day,i also noticed him looking at me at several occasions, and then turning his head when he noticed me looking. Ever since then a rumor started that he had a crush on me,this he denied. Im in most classes with him and he constantly flirted with me,and obviously,i wont deny it,i flirted back. Loads of people in the class have asked if there's anything beyond friendship going on e.g "is there anything going on between you and him?" and i reply a no. We were really close to the point that we were one of each others best friends. He also commented and liked my pictures saying really nice compliments, and he never did it with any other girl. I also have proof that he visits my facebook profile and looks around on it quite allot. Until one day lessons started and we sat by each other, we were mucking around like usual until half way through the lesson he randomly said he hated me, i took this as a joke. Later on that day it turned out that he was being serious. I asked him why he hates me and he replied with , 'i don't know...i haven't got a reason.' At this point i broke down crying through out the whole lesson, as i didn't want to loose such a close friend. Ever since then he became really cocky with me by telling people that i cried because he called me a name, and told people that he was just going to ignore the fact that i was crying. Lots of people still believe he has a crush on me, but is trying to hide by saying he hates me. He wasn't acting his normal self, and i never knew of this side to him,i just feel so confused about what has happened:\

I know that boys do this, but i would love some opinions and answers off other people. I would also love to have advise off people because i really have no clue what to do :\
