Is Blasphemy A Forgivable Sin In Islam

Question about the unforgivable sin!?

Jesus actually said:
Matthew 12:30-32
30 Anyone who is not with Me is against Me, and anyone who does not gather with Me scatters.
31 Because of this, I tell you, people will be forgiven every sin and blasphemy, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come.

So Blasphemy is not the unforgivable sin, Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin.
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is:
1) Seeing the Works of God, and attributing them to Satan.
2) Constantly refusing to allow God access to your heart and life (refusing to admit your constant need for God's grace and mercy, freely provided through Jesus Christ).

If you are still worried about whether or not you have committed the unforgivable sin - You haven't yet! It's when you no longer care whether you have or not!

Are some sins in Islam unforgivable like in the Bible with Judas Iscariot?

All sins are forgiven except for associating partner with Allah (shirk).Shirk is an unforgivable sin if one dies without repenting from it.Verily, Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth.—Quran, Sura 4 (An-Nisa), ayah 48As such, becoming hopeless of the mercy of Allah is prohibited. The Quran declares:Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.—Quran, Sura 39 (Az-Zumar), ayah 53Again, God says to the believers in a Hadith Qudsi:"O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it."In Islam, forgiveness does not require any sacrifice, and all sins can be forgiven as long as you keep within boundaries of monotheism. Just repent and try to desist from whatever caused you to sin and thats it.Sorry if its a simple answer but thats just how simple it is.

How many unforgivable sins are there?

One. The unforgivable sin is failure to listen to the Holy Spirit as He calls us to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Holy Bible is the word of almighty God.

What is the unforgivable sin?

Believing that sin is real in the first place?

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

Is lust a unforgivable sin?

**********
The unforgivable sin, according to the scriptures is the blaspheming of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 12:30-32 (King James version)
"30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

All other sin can be forgiven except for that one. The question becomes, what does that mean? Different churches have differnt interpretations.

I actually believe you would have to literally see and know God PERSONALLY, to be able to reject him in an unforgivable fashion. Most humans will never be able to commit the unforgivable sin.

Are mortal sins unforgivable?

I believe that there is more to this answer. Although sinning against the Holy Spirit is indeed unforgivable, I believe that not believing in Jesus Christ as your personal saviour is the biggest sin. Allow me to explain. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, and clearly this speaks of eternal death or seperation from God. Now according to 1 John 5 vs. …16 there is a sin that leads to death. The question thus is what is this sin? Well I believe that the answer is found in John 16 from verse 7 to 11, but especially emphasizing verse 9 that says The Holy Spirit will convict us of the sin of Not Believing in Jesus Christ. This effectively means that it is a sin not to believe in Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, and THIS sin will be unforgivable when we stand infront of God one day. The fact that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is regarded as an unforgivable sin, is because it is The Holy Spirit that convict us to accept Jesus as Lord and saviour and when we ignore His prompting, we are infact blaspheming against The Holy Spirit's conviction and is in reality saying that we dont believe Him, and making Him out to be a liar. So the most unforgivable sin is NOT TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOUR.
