What to wear to a Brantley Gilbert/ Eric Church concert?

i have tickets for when they come up here. i'm a girl so what i'm wearing is gonna be really different compared to you. but just go with a ball cap, t shirt, jeans, and boots.

What do y'all think of Brantley Gilbert?

He's alright.
In my opinion, he's just another version of everything else that's out there, though. I don't find a whole lot that's original in most of his songs, nothing that really stands out to me. He's got a decent voice and a few good songs. I like Modern Day Prodigal Son, Hell on Wheels, and Bending the Rules & Breaking the Law the best.
He'll probably be pretty big here in a little bit. He's already getting there. I've got a couple of his songs on my iPod. But I think I'll always change the radio station when I hear "Country Must Be Country Wide," because it's so formulaic; I don't find it all that honest / true. (Yeah, country's countrywide, but I don't believe in some of the other things the song says..) And I'll always change the station when I hear "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party," whether it's his version or Jason Aldean's. I mean, he's good, don't get me wrong. But modern country is full of nothing but laundry list songs and dirt road free-for-alls - a bunch of guys talking about how "country" they are because they do this and that and blah blah blah (like eat cornbread & biscuits, and dip, and wear Wrangler jeans, stuff like that, that doesn't really determine how "country" you are, in my opinion).
So he's decent, in my opinion, as far as today's mainstream country goes.

What should I wear to a Brantley Gilbert concert?

So, the concert is at the end of April in Columbus, Ohio! At the Schottenstein Center! I have no idea what to wear! I'm 23 years old and it's my first concert!
I'm not comfortable in shorts or skirts, but do okay in dresses! I have a pair of taupe cowgirl boots that I planned wearing, but what else!
My husband ordered me a Brantley Gilbert shirt when we ordered tickets. But I feel like, you're already there, people know you like him, why wear one of his shirts too?
Maybe I'm thinking too hard. ;)
Anyways, leave me some advice/outfit tips! Ohh, and I'm also plus sized! 1x-2x in tops and 14-16 in jeans(:

A comfortable shirt, or tee shirt, and jeans if you want. Western hat and boots aren't needed. There is no specific dress code for a show. I've seen in the more than twenty shows I've been to anything from tee shirt, and jeans, to three piece suits. Country concerts though tend to be more causal, and are about being comfortable with yourself. You're there to see the show and not be the show.

Why did Brantley Gilbert write the song Saving Amy ?

he wrote the song about one of his best friends. his friend proposed to his "wife" and on his way home he was involved in a car accident and passed away. Brantley sings the song as if he is his best friend letting the girl know he will never forget about her and he wishes he could be there with her. i defiantly recommend going to see him in concert, he puts on one of the best shows you will ever attend and you'll get a better explanation about this song.

What should I wear to this concert?

I went to the first 3 shows in Fort Smith, Cape Girardeau, and Southaven.

Most of the ladies I saw were either wearing skirts and cowboy boots and cute tops, short sundresses with boots, or jeans tucked into boots, white tank tops and open western button down shirts over them, and hats.

Another option would be jeans, a custom t-shirt (bedazzle something having to do with Eric...or Chief...or Church Choir), and boots.

The main thing is to dress comfortably because you are going to be on your feet the whole concert, and you're going to have the time of your life. This show is absolutely AMAZING!
