Is Coffee Dangerous For Health Im Having Examas N Im Driking Coffee 2 Times A Day

Is it a bad idea to drink coffee/tea before an exam?

1) If the 'warmth' were what woke you up, a warm cup of water would keep you alert.
Caffeine will help keep you alert (but sleep is more important); sugar in coffee & energy drinks will give you a short burst of energy but will be followed by a crash.

2) Tea is not 'more healthy' than coffee.
Coffee has 4x the antioxidants found in tea and studies have proven coffee reduces the chances of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Type II diabetes, and certain cancers. A recently published study shows people who drink a lot of coffee (regular or decaf) that develop prostate cancer have a greatly reduced chance of getting the most fatal variety.

Coffee has 2-6x the caffeine of tea, so you'll get more of a boost without drinking as much.

Get a good night's sleep, eat a balanced breakfast, and have a cup (or 2) of coffee a few hours before your test. This will allow you to go to the bathroom before the test. Proper hydration is also important for good concentration; don't drink any alcohol Friday night (it dehydrates) and drink plenty of water the day before.

Is it bad to drink 3 large black coffees a day?

I drink 3 (12 oz. + ) daily. I have been known to drink 6mugs in a day. This has been my daily coffee habit since 1978. I am 69+ years old and my twice yearly blood test results indicate I’m in in good health. I have M.S., degenerative Arthritis which has take almost three inches off my height since high school, COPD, Eczema, Allergies, Asthma, intermittent Kidney Failure (I have been hospitalized twice but was in full recovery within the next 72 hours on both occasions), a congenital hole in my heart and edema. But coffee is not the root or cause of my ridicules list of ailments. My B.P is good, my cholesterol levels are envied and occasionally I sleep like a rock. So I have no reason to lower my daily intake of caffeine nor would I unless life threatening. So I will drink on and savor every drop of my dark roast coffee.I don’t know if my story should or will influence you or any coffee drinker. I just love my cups (actually mugs), of fresh hot coffee. They have and continue to do me no harm. The aroma alone is enticing. I will stop my diatribe now to refresh my coffee. Bonne Chance!

Is it safe to drink coffee all day long?

While I've read about caffeine overdose and am aware of the dangers, just like any other “drug,” your body will build up a tolerance. I drink coffee all day most days. During winter I start with a 6- serving moka pot, during hotter weather like now i start with a cold brew i make at home with cold brew ice cubes so it doesn't water down, not that it lasts long enough to. Did i mention that my coffee is always a fresh ground 50/50 blend of Death Wish coffee and Black Insomnia coffee, which are 2 of the strongest coffees in the world. During the day at work i make due with Folgers black silk made in a drip pot, and usually have an evening cup of cold brew or an iced coffee, depending on my mood. My health is fine, my heart rate and blood pressure are actually pretty good for a man my age, so I'm not seeing a whole lot of negative health effects. The drawback though is caffeine no longer really perks me up much, if at all. If I'm drowsy behind the wheel, a quick stop for a cup of Joe does nothing for me. Whether gas station coffee, or your local coffee shop, their strongest is usually weaker than my everyday, so it's no help. So, can you drink coffee all day with no negative health effects? Yes, once your body has adjusted to the coffee consumption. Are there drawbacks? Yes, yes there are. If you're drinking it for the pick me up, then don't drink it all day, or skip days now and again. If you're drinking it all day purely for love of the beverage, well then, come join me for a cup!

Should I let my 14-year-old daughter drink coffee?

I started drinking caffeinated beverages at age 13. Here's why and how it has affected me:At 13, I needed to be at my bus stop by 6:15 am every weekday morning for school. I usually had 1 hour before this to get up, shower, do my hair, apply minimal cosmetics, eat breakfast, pack my lunch, and walk to the bus stop. I usually did homework until at least 10 pm, and frequently past midnight. So, throughout high school I subsisted on about 5-7 hours of sleep per night. Teenagers are optimally supposed to get 8-10.I was not a morning person, and I hated coffee. My parents drank pots of coffee every day, but I couldn't stand it. So, I went with soda. I drank a Pepsi Max with my breakfast every morning, and I still do every single day.The effects I've noticed are:Migraines: if I skip my morning caffeine, I almost always get a migraine. I get them occasionally regardless, but not having my Pepsi every morning is a trigger.Dependency: I actually feel relief when I take my first sip of soda. I would buy Pepsi instead of food, if it came down to that. It is less expensive than a Starbucks addiction, so that's a plus. I can now drink coffee (with lots of sugar) or use an caffeine supplement to get my "fix," but I prefer Pepsi.Growth: I'm the shortest person in my family. This might just be genetics or other factors, but I am the youngest caffeine consumer among my family members. I stopped growing at about age 13-14.School: I just graduated college with highest honors. Again, lots of factors were present that helped me to do that, but it might be good to know.Best of luck to you and your daughter!Edit: Guys, please don't criticize my personal dietary choices online. We're all strangers, and none of us will likely change our minds on this. To be honest, I wouldn't change my behavior even if my mom told me exactly what the commenters are saying. And she does, with slightly less condescension.

Is It Okay To Drink Coffee At Age 14?

I started to drink coffee about a week ago and I'm 14 years old. I drink it to help me wake up for school and stuff. Is it bad for my age? My brother said it's bad to drink it at night cause it has too much caffeine, but just in general. Thanks. :)
