Is Croatia Is Too Similar To England

Who will win the 2018 FIFA semifinals, England or Croatia? Why?

England have been on fire in this 2018 WC . With just one defeat in this tournament , ( Group stage match , against Belgium ) , England has given us the hint that they might take the Cup home ! while they too had to rely on a penalty shootout in order to reach the quarterfinal, momentum is now with ENGLAND after Gareth Southgate's men backed that up with a much more comprehensive 2-0 win over Sweden. The same can't be said for Croatia, who needed spot kicks to beat both Denmark and Russia, two of the less fancied teams in the knockout stages, just to reach the top four. But CROATIA have a creative edge, with England lacking playmakers of Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic's calibre. Their goalie , Danijel Subasic , is crucial to his nation’s hopes as he has been one of the best in the tournament .So , I would say it is a really close one to call , but the momentum and confidence is all with England and it’s Young charges. Croatia will need all hands on deck to shut out Harry Kane .I would end with — “May the best team win !!”Thanks !

Is Croatian similar or the same as Italian?

Hello,

No; the languages are quite different and Croatian has noun declensions as well making it tougher to learn.

Why did Russia lose to Croatia? Can England beat Croatia?

Russia did very well against Croatia, they played their best. Russia lost to Croatia because Croatians were a better team. However, the game with Russia exhausted Croatia completely. The question is, will Croatia have enough time to recover from all the beatings the Croatian players suffered so far? We’ve all seen the dirty tricks some Argentinians played against Croatians, and other teams have sometimes demonstrated similar tactics. It’s surprising Croatia played so well after a couple of Russians started with dirty old tricks when losing 2:1 against Croatia. England did not take so much beating when they played against Sweden, most Scandinavians usually play fair. Hence England will have an advantage, fresh players ready for the semifinals.Croatia should expect England to play dirty rather than fair, people like to kick a wounded warrior. It’s human nature, England will not go easy on them. The referees will tolerate a lot of dirty tricks on Croatians, without too many yellow/red cards. It would be a miracle if Croatia could find the strength to beat England in the semifinals. We can expect a great game, both teams will be determined to win.

Which is a better team: England or Croatia?

Croatia because they have the -ics: Modric, Rakatic, Strinic, Mandzukic, Perisic, Brozovic, and Subasic.

Do you think England can win against Croatia?

no

What are similar languages to Serbian?

Serbian is a part of the Slavic language group, so all Slavic languages are similar to Serbian. They all derived from a language the linguists call Proto-Slavic. That language split into 3 major categories.East Slavic Languages:Russian,UkrainianBelorussianWest Slavic languagesCzech,PolishSlovakSorbian (Do not confuse it with Serbian!);and South Slavic languages that need a more complex explanation. You see, South Slavic splits into 2 smaller categories, the West branch of South Slavic languages and the East branch of South Slavic languages. The West branch consists ofSerbianCroatianMontenegrinBosnianSloveneBUT! The first four languages I mentioned, from Serbian to Bosnian, are all considered to be the same language by almost all, if not all, serious linguists, in fact that language is most commonly called “Serbo-Croatian”. All of them are considered standards of the same language, of course there are some small differences, but we can all still understand each other. The only reason they are called different languages is because we are politically divided. All those standards derived from the same dialect called “Shtokavian”.The East branch consists ofMacedonianBulgarian.I can see that some people are saying that Macedonian is just a dialect, but that just ain’t true, it is a different language all together, sure it is similar, but calling Macedonian just a dialect of Serbian is the same as saying that French and Italian are just dialects of one another. This year I will be studying philology in a faculty and this is one of the things I had to learn in my preparations for the entrance exam this year. This is a small chart showcasing what I just mentioned, some of those languages are not spoken anymore or barely spoken.

Are there any weird laws in Croatia?

No, indecent exposure laws in Croatia aren't so strict and are much more liberal, for example, topfreedom is permitted in Croatia on virtually every beach in coastal regions(not inside the city core though).

However, you may not visit cultural monuments wearing nothing but swimsuit.

PDA is tolerated up to a certain point. I think it's the same as everywhere else in Europe, you may hug, kiss and so on, but you may not get too intimate.

Enjoy your stay in Croatia!
