Is Detroit Another Liberal Success Story

Success stories with Saphris?

Asenapine( Saphris)is used to treat symptoms of psychotic (mental) disorders, such as schizophrenia, or mania or bipolar disorder. This medicine should not be used to treat behavioral problems in older adult patients who have dementia.

Is Detroit a great democrat success story?

That question can be looked at through the prism of recent history, take for example Chicago, New Orleans, Newark, NJ, Camden,NJ, DC and Los Angeles, all democrat strongholds. Sadly these cities are mired in socialism and poverty. New Orleans since the days of Huey Long, Chicago since the days of Alfonse Capone, Los Angeles since the days "twinkle toes" Pat Brown and now his clone Jerry! Welfare costs and the courts cause suburban voters to talk about secession. No fiscal restraint, tax and spend policies, rising crime rates; all a sign of democrat success!

Virgo/gemini success stories?

My Gemini friend was in a relationship with a Virgo for a while. There was definite attraction from the beginning (probably because of the Mercury thing) and they both got on really well on a mental level. As conversationalists they were great and were always helping each other out with their lives! I think many Geminis find Virgos mysterious and sexy and Virgos like that Geminis are so friendly and fun. Unfortunately, things didn't work out between them and I think the main reason was because the Virgo was quite serious and was always working. The Gemini was quite immature and was always off doing social things so they just drifted apart. I think also the Gemini found the Virgo quite critical and always felt judged. So these are the things you need to look out for. Gemini needs to be more focused and loyal, and Virgo needs to be more light-hearted.

What do you call someone from Detroit?

I know that anyone from the state of Michigan as a whole can be referred to as a Michiganer *I personally don't prefer to say Michigander*, but I want to know if a person from Detroit would be referred to as a Detroitan like Chicagoan? Or something else? I know it's random, but I would like to know just out of curiosity..

Please no smart asses saying things like "poor", etc. that will offend any Detroit residents/natives.

DHgate success stories anyone?

Hi, I'm hoping to start my own business reselling fashion jewelry that I buy on dhgate.com. But, I'm a little worried that maybe I'm being overoptimistic about my potential to make money this way. Anyone out there have a success story? I've read plenty of good and bad stuff about the site online, if you don't have something from your own experience to share maybe don't bother writing here... Please no links to rating sites whatever either, thanks!

What US cities run by Democrats are considered successful?

Your metric for success might be different from mine. To Democrats, having people on housing subsidies is a good thing. President Obama was always promoting the SNAP program for example. Getting more people on food assistance was a goal for him.I hear liberals brag about cities like San Francisco and Boston for their public transportation and that they do I guess. When I visit those cities all I can think about is how much of a nightmare it must be to drive big trucks, drive busses, do construction/move construction equipment, take your kids around if they need to be in car seats, basically do anything that’s not go by yourself to your tech job. The housing costs are astronomical in these cities. The median home value in a blue state is darn near twice that of a house in a red state. For liberals that’s something to brag about - “look at how much people value living in our cities”, for conservatives that is a big problem. This kind of metric for success problem is why conservatives and liberals can go around arguing who’s ideas are better until they’re blue in the face and get nowhere with one another.
