If the news is true it's not great. But there must be something, else this is smoke with out fire.Now let's understand what can be the effect. The effect can be bad performance in CT 17.Let's face it.Should board listen to Virat and change Kumble? NoKumble as we know is not of very old generation and he has played with MSD Yuvi etc. What is the Yard stick for judging a coach,'s performance it's purely results. We saw what has been the result after Kumble it was fabulous. If someone going to say it's about players and not about Coach we must stop hiring coach and should go to 80s and 90s were we had just cricket managers instead of paying big sum. But after we hired professional coaches from John Wright to Kirsten we saw the positive results. 2 WC finals we played and won in overseas too. And we saw our down time under Greg Chapel too. This make us believe there is effect of coaches in team performance.If Kohli says Kumble is not good let's know what is bad? If it's an issue which is genuine let the board handle it in professional manner .Or is this story hyped by sources from BCCI since Kumble negotiated for hike in Pay?(Kumble shouldn't have engaged in Pay hike issue since he should have focussed on coaching and Indian team is not underpaid)We love Cricket and I know how much we were upset when the match fixing happened and from 2000 to till ugly fight of Greg Chapel we enjoyed cricket.
