Is Eric Cartman From South Park A Good Role Model For Children

In the show south park what happened to cartmans dad?

There's an episode all about finding Cartman's dad, because apparently his mom was quite the cartoon slut. She slept with Chef, a native american, an entire football team.....I don't think it ended up being any of them, but it's a funny episode.

The stereotype is that Cartman is such a little asshole because he has no male role model. Not saying I agree or disagree, so reason for people to hate. Just explain.

Anyway, I think the episode is in the first season.

EDIT: Ooooh...didn't know about eh hermaphrodite thing! Thanks everyone!

Who is your favorite South Park character ?

My favorite character is by far, Cartman! I like how he always just says what's on his mind and doesn't beat around the bush. He's rude and obnoxious but that's what makes him unique. I love it when Cartman whines and begs for stuff from his mom and he goes "But maaaaaaaa" and she gives in! He's also the one that usually comes up with all the ideas on how to deal with different situations. One of my favorite episodes is when the cat goes into heat and he keeps going "Bad Kitty". It was just funny. I TOTALLY agree that he has the most "character development". Wikipedia actually has quite a bit of information on Eric Carman's character. Here's part of what it says:
Amongst the show's main child characters, Cartman is distinguished as "the fat one", and his obesity has been a continuing source of insults from other characters throughout the show's run. Cartman is frequently portrayed as an antagonist or villain whose actions set in motion the events serving as the main plot of an episode. Other children and classmates are alienated by Cartman's insensitive, racist, lazy, misogynistic, wildly insecure, and bigoted behavior, but are occasionally influenced by his obtrusive, manipulative, and propagandist antics.
I'd actually read the rest of this because it has a lot of information you might not know like did you know that Eric's mom is both his mother and father? I didn't know that! Here's the site:

Eric has also been on the list of many publication's most iconic cartoon characters along with like Bart Simpson and Bugs Bunny!

Is it true that The Simpsons and South Park caused the moral bankruptcy of millennials? If so, exactly how ruinous are these shows?

I reject your hypothesis that any TV show, or any type of music for that matter, has any correlation to the moral bankruptcy of any given generation. This is an idea that has been bandied about by “concerned” parents for as long as I can remember. Many parents in the 50s and 60s thought that Elvis Presley and The Beatles were surely a sign of the decline of civilization as we know it.In my time, Kiss and The Eagles were said to be worshipping Satan in their music. After that it was Marilyn Manson, who was actually blamed for the mass shooting at Columbine High School.Yes, I know these aren't TV shows, but the same principal applies. Compared with other animated shows currently on TV, I find The Simpsons to just barely push their content into the PG level. As for South Park, I think it's creators are two of the most relevant social commentators of my generation. Here's the thing: parents aren't monitoring what their kids watch, or watching shows with them. If they were, they would inevitably find a teachable moment during the airing of these shows. What would be so much worse than kids watching a show that is not age appropriate for them, would be the censorship of free speech.Whenever I hear this type of rhetoric, it reminds me of a quote attributed to Gandhi, which is: “Intolerance betrays lack of faith in one's cause.” Meaning, if parents have faith in the job they have done raising their children, they will be confident in that child's ability to make the right choice. If not, they complain about TV and music corrupting their children.

Who or what is the best TV show character ever created?

Some of my favorites (in no particular order):Carl Elias (by Enrico Colantoni) from Person Of Interest: Not your typical head for the mafia. He is an extremely complex character for someone who is only recurring on the show. A stroke of genius from Nolan.Patrick Jane (by Simon Baker) from the Mentalist: The guy is very engaging to watch. He is the reason people watch the show.Claire Dunphy (by Julie Bowen) from Modern Family: Supposed to be a "typical" stay-at-home mom but it is a new take on the whole family dynamic.Harvey Specter (by Gabriel Macht) from Suits: A class act.Dr. Sheldon Cooper (by Jim Parsons) from The Big Bang Theory: Can't have a list without this guy.Joan Watson (by Lucy Liu) from Elementary: Ever thought a female Watson would work? She seems to be the perfect foil for Sherlock.Mozzie (by Willie Garson) from White Collar: Extremely quirky and brilliant. Will McAvoy (by Jeff Daniels) from The Newsroom: An idealist. A mesmerizing performance from Daniels captivates your attention.     Sherlock Homes (by Benedict Cumberbatch) from Sherlock: Couldn't have found a better fit.Francis Underwood (by Kevin Spacey) from The House Of Cards: Gives a great view into the murky world of politics. Also, talks to us so that we don't get bored.Jack Donaghy (by Alec Baldwin) from 30 Rock: The suave exec at GE.Newman (by Wayne Knight) and Cosmo Kramer (by Michael Richards) from Seinfeld: Amazing characters. "Kramer is quite a character". Chandler Bing (by Matthew Perry) from FRIENDS: The king of sarcasm.  Carrie Mathison (by Claire Danes) from Homeland: A brilliant portrayal of a complex character.
