Is Facebook Down Right Now 4/27/14

My mom is now 41 years old, bored with her life, always depressed, and has nothing to do all day except play Candy Crush, visit Facebook, and watch TV. What should she do? She doesn’t read or have very many friends.

This is my first time replying someone's question. If there is something that offense you please forgive me. It seems like my mom got the same situation as your mom did. However at least your mom has the ability to read or surf the internet, my mom has never been to school for a second and she doesn't know too much words, which in her words, it seems like a blind person walking around the street every time she goes out without someone else. Plus she is kind of conservative person growing up at the country and hardly adapts herself very well in the city. Since recently our whole family have moved to other completedly strang city, my mom lost contacts with the old friends she used to hand out with. Basically everyday after dealing with the housework, she has nothing else to do except watching TV or falling asleep, day in and day out. This situation existed for a period until she met some other women who has the same situation as she does and shared the same interest---gambling. Please don't get me wrong. By the gambling I mean some poker game with a little amount of cash. They have quite a lot of fun gambling which as far a my concern is an activity where they exchange money. Ok the above is my moms story. Here what I want to said is that, human can not live with society. We are living I groups. Although you mom interacts with the people online a lot. But admittly that is not social interact just by staring at the screen. So here my advice is, getting out as much as you can. Go shopping. Go to park. Take a walk. Join a community service. Any activities that involves other people will bring out the natural side of your mom. Hope you can understand my poor English :)

Out of the two US presidential candidates which one do you think is worse, Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?

Strange as it may sound, the question evokes in me a conflict between my gut and my heart. My gut reaction is the country is going into a period of anarchy where the better angels of our nature are betrayed and lost from sight. In that country, I suppose someone like Donald Trump is the better president, although I’m at a loss to say why.I don’t see Trump holding the country together, unifying or building. He seems intent on doing the exact opposite. I do see his movement as a reaction to the excesses of political correctness but for all the rhetoric, that seems trivial.Hillary I see as the president if I feel the country will last another hundred years. That there will be a United States to lead the world further in the directions of the Founders and the Age of Reason. That may sound opposite or obtuse to some who’ve internalized the rhetoric of Originalists, but I feel and think it’s accurate. The conflict between these two impressions sorrows me overall.
