Is Feminism still needed?
Okay I agree Feminism was needed throughout the 20th centuary. I mean c'mon women were second class ( if not third class ) citizens!! But do you think we still need feminism. I don't mean if we still need people against domestic violence but do we still need women demanded equal rights because I am pretty sure women have equal rights now.
Is women empowerment really needed?
No, it is not needed, enough of women empowerment, feminism etc. from the olden days girls are strong, brave and bold enough to do or get what they want. So there is no need to put an extra effort on that. But what we need at present is more of Gender sensitization (specially for the male counterpart). we have to teach our boys, how they should treat girls. let me explain with an instance- A highly educated city girl, wearing a short dress is bold and empowered enough to come back from office or some party at night alone. OR a simple village girl, wearing salwar kameez with duppatta, due to some unexpected reason is coming back home late night, she is also bold and empowered inside. But in both the cases can we assure them the safety, who will take charge of the male vultures standing on roadside, waiting for their prey.(P.S.- by male vultures I don’t mean all the male, its just for the vultures, real men please don’t get offended by this) And it was very important to put this note as I don’t want to hurt any particular section as well as I myself encountered some real men, who infact, protect or show genuine care towards girls travelling alone.Ok coming back to the instance, if some misfortune happens with the girl, then what we can do with the words like women empowerment, feminism etc. Those big marches , protests, slogans won’t help much. so what we need is Gender Sensitization not Women empowerment.
Is radical feminism really just repressed penis envy?
extremists are extremists...no matter what the subject is, they are all insane. And "feminists" who claim that the are "better " then man really need to look up the meaning of the word feminism "Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment. A feminist advocates or supports the rights and equality of women." key word: "equal" not: "better" Long story short: women who call themselves radical feminists are NOT feminists...they are disturbed people who somewhere during their life were damaged (mentally/physically) by (a) man and now blame the whole male community for what has occured to them by hiding behind a group which advocates equal rights so they can use this group as cover whilest advocating the exact same thing that damaged them. Only towards the opposite gender.
Feminism: A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle?
This catch phrase coined by feminist Irina Dunn, encapsulates the ideology of modern feminism. Feminists all over the world love this phrase, and even walk around wearing tee shirts with this written on them. REALLY??? "Like a FISH needs a BICYCLE?!" By that logic, feminists don't want or need husbands, fathers, brothers, sons... Lets just assume, that women can get pregnant, and have children without men. Lets also ignore the fact that men have built all the buildings, the infrastructure, technologies, and founded all the nations they live in, and that without us... civilization as they know it wouldn't exist.... Even without that fundamental reality... assuming the insane notion, that they actually think that they could have or would have done it without men is true, even though it is absurd... What does that say about what they want??? 1. They don't need/want Husbands 2. They don't need/want Fathers 3. They don't need/want Sons 4. They don't need.want Families to exist 5. They don't want/need men to exist So... basically what feminism wants... is for the entire world to be like that Amazonian island that Wonder Woman, and the other Amazons live on??? Because clearly, a fish certainly would NOT want or need a bicycle!!! A fish can't even USE a bicycle for any meaningful purpose! Nothing could be as worthless to a fish, than a bicycle, so that how feminism really views the relationship between men and women?! Who thinks they should be a feminist?
