What is the best proof of global warming?
Obvious evidences include increased atmospheric and ocean surface temperatures. Other evidences are shrinking glaciers, polar ice caps, and the Artic sea ice. Glaciers are among the most reliable indicators of global warming. Using Earth Observing satellites, scientists have been monitoring glaciers and have concluded that glaciers around the world are shrinking. For example, more than 110 glaciers have disappeared from Montana’s Glacier National Park over the past 150 years. Based on observations and simulations, scientists have predicted that the Glacier National Park will be glacier free by 2030.The polar ice sheets are massive glaciers. The Antarctic Ice Sheet extends almost 14 million square kilometers (5.4 million square miles), roughly the area of the contiguous US and Mexico combined. The Antarctic Ice Sheet contains 30 million cubic kilometers (7.2 million cubic miles) of ice. The Greenland Ice Sheet extends about 1.7 million square kilometers (656,000 square miles), covering most of the island of Greenland, three times the size of Texas.According to the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), the Greenland Ice Sheet has begun to decline. Most of Antarctica has yet to see dramatic warming. However, the Antarctic Peninsula, which juts out into warmer waters north of Antarctica, has warmed 2.5 C since 1950. A large area of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet is losing mass, probably because of warmer water deep in the ocean. In East Antarctica, no clear trend has emerged.The figure below, from NSIDC, shows Greenland melt extent in 2017 compared to the 1981-2010 median.Another global-warming evidence is shrinking Artic sea ice. The figure below, from NSIDC, shows a rate of decline of 13.2% per decade (or 33,200 square miles per year) for the September sea ice extent between 1979 and 2017.

ok, now, please give me the evidence that global warming is MAN MADE. i only need to know if it is the human activity that heats up the earth or something else. and i dont need treehugging, algore worshiping caraboos here.... just give me the evidence that ligidimetly proves that global warming is MAN MADE.

Actually, I was using a really old spectrometer today that apparently wasn't Y2K compliant. It say the date was January 44th, 2004. I should have taken a picture.

Actually, there is more proof than not. I'm going to school right now to become a climatologist. I have done many research papers and have researched it for years now... and there is just way too much proof to believe global warming is not real, and for that fact, man has not done it. Too much proof.
Do you believe someone who does not "buy in" to global warming can still be an earth-friendly conservationist?
There are many questions here on global warming. However, some of the answers seem to say that people must "buy in" to the global warming scare in order to prove they are conservationists and protectors of the earth. I think these are two separate matters and some people might embrace one belief (conserve & protect earth) and reject the other (man-made global warming). What do you think?
